my order may not arrive before the auto-finalize date how do i get an extension if i need to?

Click Resolution or Resolve it might be, next to Finalize I think and ask for whatever amount of days you want i.e. 7 or 10. You do that again close to when that runs out. Once you go to resolution, you have to wait until the date the order would have finalised but don't worry, it will be dealt with without auto FE

is this the only way? i have to wait until the day that it would auto finalize to do it? because i am going to be out of town and won't be able to on that day..

After your order has been in transit for 10 days, you will be able to click the resolve button and ask for an extension

Unfortunately, yes, you have to put it into resolution and wait in frustration!!!

once it is in resolution i will be alright though it will not finalize? is there anything else i will need to do? because when there's going to be 2 days left i'm going out of town for 5 days and will not be able to get on the site.

Once an order in in the resolution center it will not auto-finalize, just make sure your most recent proposal reflects the resolution you are seeking and respond to any counter proposals put forward by the vendor.
