Title: Vendor not processing order-he demands finalize early before shipping-help?!?

Hi There,

Normally, I wouldn't FE, but there is a vendor with such good prices on something I want, and a lot of good reviews, so I'm making a reception.  This is only my fourth order, and it says anyone with 10 or less successful orders need to finalize before he will ship.

I've never finalized early before, but from what I gather, once the vendor marks the product in transit, you hit the finalize button, he gets the coins, and he ships.

Problem is, he hasn't done anything with our order or responded to/read our messages since we placed the order-about 36 hours ago.  However, he HAS longed on.

I know it might take a while for him to get to every order, but I'm worried he might just be ignoring ours or he missed it or something..and I am ordering it to share with a friend who is visiting, and is only here for another 8 days.  If this vendor can't get around to shipping my product for another week, I'd like to have my coins back.  (He says all orders should arrive 48-96 hours after shipping.)

If he never gets around to processing our order, can we go to the resolution center and ask for our coins back?  What are you supposed to do in this situation?

If a vendor demands FE I personally would not order. I do FE for some vendors after agreeing with them however once you hit that finalize button you are on your own so if you do it then you need to have considered the risk and own your decision if things turn ugly.

If the vendor requires FE is for every single shipping option it is more likely a FE scam. Since the days of Tony I have seen many people fall privy to it. While there are times that I am low on cash and need customers to FE,  I always make an exception for express because 4 days is not a huge difference (where airmail can leave me dry for 30 days)

No, he only requires FE for new customers.
However, if it was a scam, wouldn't he at least say that the order is in transit, which would allow me to finalize so he could have the coins? Right now the coins are just stuck in escrow because since I've ordered it he hasn't done anything. I can't finalize, and I don't think I can cancel the order.

If I don't hear from him at all by tomorrow night, I'd like to cancel the order and find something else I can order express so that I can have something before my friend leaves in 6 days.  How do I request to cancel an order?
Who do I write to-I'm guessing a mod? Which mod?

You can ask the vendor to cancel. Otherwise you can wait 4 days and you will be able to cancel yourself.
