Title: Severing Tormail and PGP ties
Post by: livestr0ng on August 06, 2013, 09:00 pm
My PGP key is still connected to my tormail. My tormail is quite obviously mine due to my nickname used. Just as obvious, I want nothing to do with tormail anymore. How do I edit my PGP (on windows and TAILS) to use a new (fake) e-mail? I've seen basically this question asked a couple times but nobody has answered. Could somebody help me (and maybe some others) out?

You have to generate a new PGP key.  You cannot change the email of a PGP key that has already been created.

Everyone should change their PGP keys.

Thank you both so much. Just a simple answer from a respected member and a mod who took the time to confirm it. SRF are the best.
