Title: "We were not able to authenticate your request."
Post by: eeshahcu on July 31, 2013, 08:22 am
I see this message when trying to place an order. I know that I entered my PIN correctly. My PIN consists of both alphabetic and numeric characters and I don't know if this is a problem. Furthermore, the order is not for a physical thing (just information, like an e-book), so no address information should be necessary. This is not a very helpful message because it doesn't say what was the problem. I looked in the FAQ and couldn't find anything.

I logged out and logged in again, entered a fake address and it worked. These information items shouldn't require an address.

Please restart Tor. If that doesn't fix the issue, please ensure that you're selecting a shipping option for the item you're attempting to order and clicking the 'Go' or 'Update cart' button, ensure that you're entering the correct PIN and also that you have enough BTC in your account to cover the cost of the order (inclusive of shipping).

If that doesn't resolve the issue please ensure that you're using the latest update to the Tor Browser Bundle, and that you have installed it to a fresh folder (i.e. not over the existing installation.)
