Title: Forum Links Being Cut Off

i recently sent a PM to one of the vendors to establish a positive report so he could feel less wary of selling to a newbie. i figured i'd send him a link to my forum profile so he could check me out just to see that i'm a standup guy. the link was in the middle of my message and it looked like this when I sent it:

"...my profile can be found here: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?action=profile;u=77541. This counterculture..."

however, it ended up being sent as:

"...my profile can be found here: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?acti This counterculture..."

then, i tried to send it split, as:

"http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?acti
on=profile;u=77541"

ended up as: "http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?acti" again...

finally, after being frustrated, i wrote:

"Oh good lord. second half: on=profile;u=77541"

ended up as "Oh good lord. second half:"

...so now i feel like a complete tool and i'm sure the vendor thinks i'm an idiot.

any clues as to why this is happening? :/
