Title: Will Autofinalize happen if I am in Resolution??

Question. My vendor is due to be paid in 3 days, he has not been on in 3 days and no product has arrived. I have entered in the resolution center asking for his proposed refund.

If he still does not log on in 3 days will that money be released????? automatically

I have opened a support ticket as well, as this Vendor is having major problems from all the last 10 reviews.

I think by entering resolution you put the auto-finalization on halt, but I'm not %100 sure since I've never had to.  Hopefully someone who has comes by, but it would be pretty illogical to still allow auto-finalization during a dispute of some sort.

Once in the resolution center an order will not auto finalize. Please just ensure your most up-to-date proposal reflects the resolution you are seeking and also ensure you respond to any counter proposals by the vendor. When the resolution period expires if you have not reached an amicable outcome an admin will adjudicate for you both in making a determination.

Depends on whether you have asked for an extension and/or when you took it into resolution as just doing that adds 5 days automatically. It will say next to the transaction how many days are left you run.

That's where I am confused. 2 Days ago I put it into resolution asking for a refund, at that point I had 5 days left of the original 17 day extension. Now it says payment is due in 2 days.

I just don't want the money to be released as vendor hasn't been here in 3 days to address the Resolution and give the refund.

That's why I am confused by what the resolution period is for a refund request?

Well like I said it will not auto finalize so if you have not reached an agreement by the time the resolution period expires then an admin will made a decision based upon the merits of the situation.

I am unable to comment on the time lines of your situation, if you have any concerns please contact SR support on the market site and let them take a look at it for you.
