Title: Possibly Ripped Off By a Vendor
Post by: Doral123 on July 19, 2013, 01:04 am
Hi,

Placed an order with medsman. He was extremely helpful right up until he got his money. Now he isn't even reading my posts to him, asking him various questions. I paid his price as he had an FE requirement on new buyers. I was kinda okay with that being a newbie and all. Then he asks for an extra $15 (BTC .20) to cover the express post I had wanted. He said that the package would go out the very next day. It may be I am simply being impatient but almost a full day without any kind of contact at all...Like your package went into the postal system at whatever o'clock, would have been nice to get so I can actually be here whenever it arrives. A little communication, especially with a jittery newbie wouldn't take a minute of his time. Right now, I am looking at unread posts to medsman sent 23 hours, 8 hours and 1 hour ago.

Am I being impatient, or has this medsman simply ripped me off?

Thanks for any advice more experienced folks can give me.

Other people here will be more harsh, so let me say, gently, when you decide to fe you accept the risks of scamming. That said just had a quick look at his page, seems pretty legit, probably just busy, maybe started his weekend early. I would counsel patience at this stage, probably will be ok, AB.

Aussie bob is correct, I would urge against sending the vendor too many messages unless a reasonable length of time has passed. Vendors just like everyone get busy, stuff IRL crops up etc so they may have just gotten a bit behind. Given that you have finalized the order though you will be unable to seek assistance from SR support if there is an issue, for now though I'd just sit tight for a little bit longer and see how things pan out. Obviously if you do not receive your order and/or the vendor continues to ignore you them please report back here with an update.
