Title: Question About Resolution Center
Post by: frivolous on July 18, 2013, 02:17 pm
This is my first time going to resolution and I have a question; I placed an order with a vendor that was marked in transit and did not arrive. I sent the vendor several PM's, which were not answered, and then the vendor disappeared. I opened a support ticket and was told the vendor had been demoted and to wait the 5 days to take the unreceived order to resolution.

I opened up a resolution proposal just now, asking for a 100% refund because I never received anything and no PM's were answered, and I doubt anything was sent at all. It says, however, that SR staff step in in 5 days to decide a final resolution if the vendor and I don't agree on one.

My dilemma is, the vendor is no longer a vendor anymore; when I click their name, I get a link to a place where I can send them a message. Does this mean they are going to participate in the resolution? But they're not a vendor anymore, so do I just have to sit here and wait another 5 days before an admin steps in and gives me my money back? Should I open another support ticket asking for the refund from the resolution center? I need to place another order and can't have my money locked up in escrow for another 5 days

Sorry for the long explanation, but thank you to anyone that can help :)

Your eligibility for a refund will need to be reviewed by an admin who will consider the timeline of your order which will amongst others things involve them looking to see when your order was placed and when the vendor turned rogue. In many cases though where a vendor has been demoted and proven to be scammed the buyer is awarded a full refund with no damage to their stats so please ensure your proposal in the resolution center clearly states the resolution you are seeking and why. You can try submitting a customer support ticket requesting an admin takes a look at your situation before the 5 days however you may need to be patient I'm afraid and wait a few days for your case to be reviewed.

Thanks for the reply; I opened a support ticket and it seems as if I have to wait yet another 5 days for an admin to take a look at the case. Oh well :(
