Title: MY ADDRESS CHANGED! IVE SENT BITCOINS TO IT! HELP!!
Post by: deluded on July 15, 2013, 08:40 pm
Hi,
I've been on 'the road' for a good 6 or 8 months. My bitcoin address has always been the same.

I did change my password the other day.

Anyway, I just bought 8 bitcoins, transferred them to the address in my address book, have just looked in settings and the address has CHANGED!!!!

Please can anyone tell me what - if anything - I can/should do??

Please help :o)

Thanks in advance.

You will need to contact SR support via the market site, instructions on how to do that are in the sticky at the top of this board. You cannot get assistance for these types of issues via the forums.

Just so you know though, all BTC addresses linked to your account are remembered so even if you sent the coins to an old BTC address they will still find their way into your account.

If you have had coins withdrawn from your account you should probably change you PIN and pass phrase immediately though whilst you waiting for support to get back to you just to be on the same side, you may have been phished.
