Title: Finalize vs resolve question

Hi,

I have a small order in with a vendor I have used several times before, previously all came fine, but this one is now over 10 days and no sign. This is shipping over borders. I sent a PM and they said it was just possible to take up to 11 days to arrive.

Very reliable vendor, so I have no reason to think they did not send. If I go to resolution, I will have a refund showing on my stats. The order is only 0.18 BC, I have done 17 buys on SR over 6 months with over 28 BC spent and no refunds.

Not keen to damage these stats for a small amount, so the question is how bad will it look to vendors to have a small refund show (if it is agreed by RC}, as opposed to finalizing and taking the small hit for what may have been a customs intervention?

Not been in this position before, please advize.

The formula used to calculate the refund rate is quite complicated and factors in many variables. Personally there have been times when I have finalized and walked away to save my stats, others when I have taken the refund. Most people obviously want to keep their refund rate as low as possible so it really is entirely your call on such matters.
