Hi,
I'm not able to log in. I havent changed any details recently, I have the latest TOR.
What can I do?
-
please let my btc please be there ....
-
You will need to create a new temporary account and submit a customer support ticket requesting a pass phrase reset, the instructions are detailed in the sticky at the top of the customer support board and/or in the SR wiki, here is the link:

Cheers. I have raised a support ticket with my feedback %, btc wallet address. So hopefully it gets answered soon. I have a bad feeling all my btc will be gone :(
-
Do you think you may have tried to log in via a phishing site then? have you entered your pin whilst trying to log into SR?
-
Na definitely not in the last few weeks as I have memorised the SR address and either copy and paste from notepad or type it in with my memory.
I was only logged on this morning which for me is about 10 hours ago. Not sure how this happened but hopefully they (if it has been taken over) don't know my pin to send btc out.

Well hopefully support will get you back into your account quickly and all your coins will be there.
-
fingers crossed. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

Im back in, thank you SR Support for seeing that I am the rightful owner. All my btc are gone however.
I have no clue as to how this occured. Under account>account history I can see the withdrawl but no other information.
Where to go from here? So pissed right now.
-
Then ya might want to change your passphrase and PIN.....

I'm sorry to hear that kingpin.
You will need to do a thorough scan of your computer for malware etc, you may need to consider the possibility that you have a keylogger too which will require a full HD format and reinstall of the operating system to get rid of.
I would also invite you to give a lot of thought to how this happened, ask yourself is there anyone else who may have accessed your account, could anyone have discovered your login and pin etc.
-
disgruntled girl/boy friend?
mom knows?
dad was spying on you?
you accessed SR from a compromised wifi hotspot?
you sit to close to your open bedroom window where the neighbor has spied on you and seen your SR login information?
ya better do what samesame said.....cuz it sure looks as though somehow you've let your info out there.....somehow..
Just my opinion :P

Thanks guys.
Na it was definitely some experienced people who did it. I have installed malware software and it only found a few key generators.
I will reinstall Os though.
Could have been worse I had $700 sitting there for ages so lucky they didnt log in.
All passwords and pin phrases have been reset.
Thanks everyone, last night I was devo but Im ok now, it could always be worse.

OKKKKKKKK
So (Im ready for the name calling) I only recently started using BTC wallet software since this incident, I normally just use my sr wallet.
So anyway I'm back after formatting my PC to find out that my backup .dat file was on my C: and the $300 I purchased today is now gone again. I run off a USB drive and I assumed that the btc were on a server somewhere but now I find out my PC was the server.
FML why cant I catch a break?

I would recommend that you create at least 3 backups of your wallet.dat in encrypted containers; one in the cloud, one in your email (sent as an attachment to yourself) and one on a USB stick.
Thread locked as resolved.
