So I'm dumb and I withdrew bitcoins from my account using my own address (the same one for deposits). I'm new and I was trying to figure out how to buy something (I didn't see the "add to cart" link at first). How do I get them back for use on SR?
Thanks for your help.

You withdrew to the address you sent from?
I don't actually know but I imagine it has to be verified and then will appear in your account in an hour or so.

Did you get them back? I'm genuinely intrigued!

If that address is not set up to receive bitcoins then they are lost forever.
Otherwise you should be able to see them in your wallet in an hour or so

If you withdrew them to the same btc address they will just find their way back to your account, don't worry you are not the first person to have made this mistake.

Sure enough, they ended up back in my account. Phew... thanks guys!

Good news then! It's what you'd expect to happen - bitcoins don't just go missing (well they can become inaccessible but not disappear completely).
