Ok so for the past week I have been reading reviews on a vendor called LegalizeMJ..
He had a 100% feedback on over 300 transactions which is what caught my eye at first.
So i decided to put 700$ in my account to order his QP listing for 650 (650 already sounds too good to be true.. should've known).
Thankfully I wasn't like one of the many others who opted to finalize early. Got on today and his rating dropped to a 76...
My questions are:
Since I did not finalize early what are my chances of getting my money back through resolve?
How long does it usually take to get your money back from escrow when you got scammed?
If SR staff bans LegalizeMJ, would the money in escrow automatically go back into my account?

Since they probably got a lot of complaints from his customers, it's probable that you get 100%. If the vendor gets banned, you get 100% and it won't affect your stats. If he gets banned, it won't take long for support to give you a refund.

At least you stayed in escrow, I am the guy that FE'ed on 2lbs. So to say the least, if I can't get funds back on this, I am out of the game for a bit. Really stressful knowing months of work is stolen in a heartbeat. All together in the past two weeks I am out 6300$. Not sure why this happened as he had stellar feedback.
Support doesn't allow people who FE'ed to get funds back if the account is locked do they?

Question is... Why did you FE on a $6300 order? Sometimes they're able to seize the funds remaining in an account and they compensate users who FE'd but I wouldn't count on that.

I FE'ed on 5k and the other 1300 was from another business transaction not related to SR. I am going to open a support ticket now, but with this level of sophistication of a scam I doubt I'll get the funds back either. The price seemed right for bulk, even his one pound listing was 2800 which didn't have a scam price.
With 300 transactions and 100 rating - I felt the user was established and legit since he requested FE. Much like the other users who also got scammed.
After this experience, I have very little leg room IRL - enough to start from scratch again but that is two months of work down the drain. If I knew where this fucking guy lived I'd be on the next flight out there.

Yeah losing $6300 isn't the nicest thing in the world. People don't bullshit when they tell you to never FE! Some vendors are legit but I wouldn't trust a vendor I didn't know with $5000. Always test them with small transactions if they require FE for everybody (that usually means scam but some are legit).

It was a lot of money for me, as I am not a heavy hitter but was working towards it. But for now on, I don't give a fuck who they are - I am not FE'ing. What a bullshit week, I submitted a ticket to support with chat logs.
Welp, off to the chopping block again at least I have a customer base to bounce back a little quicker than starting off from scratch.

Unfortunately, once the order is finalized the payment is released to the vendor and is no longer in escrow. As escrow is the system which enables SR staff to aid in dispute resolution, I can't recover your coins.

So there you have it, responded with a request to lock his account at least so more people don't get fucked. But at this point with all the scam comments if they do FE they kinda "deserve" it.

Ouch. At least FE is only for amounts that you are prepared to kiss goodbye, so it can't be too much of a loss for you. That kind of cash loss would absolutely cripple me, good on you for being able to risk that much.

That kind of sucks but I've seen times where buyers got a refund even after the FE'd if the scammer gets banned in time. I don't know if they'll be able to give you some of it back but they may :) And yeah $5000 isn't something small, you should start your operation by keeping your investments in the hundreds and only re-invest the profits you made so that the loss won't be so big in case you get scammed.

I was prepared to get 2 lbs to move, not lose 5k. I had gained that amount in 2 months of putting in work. Thankfully I have a couple ounces of stock left to start building up from scratch again, I should get back on my feet in a week or two and go from there.
I need at least 3k in the weed business to up on at least a pound of medical. Now I got pushed back down to mid-grade, which is more profitable but still doesn't help the fact I just got fucked for 5k. I was blessed with some good weight prices locally yesterday, then I find out I got fucked with my SR transaction. Going to pull a HP and if funds go through on other transaction get another HP of medical.
Either way I'll bounce back, that's why I am not pulling out my hair. I've lost 1.5k off a lost MDMA order, 40 bucks another time, and now 5k...
Best of luck to all those who had some weight with this guy, I believe in Karma, so life will sort this piece of work out in the end.

At least i'm going on vacation soon, hopefully SR Admins will have his account banned by the time I get back.
It's hard to believe that his account had that many transactions with a perfect rating..
That means he had to of done at least a 100 or more "fake" transactions before actually getting a real one.

The last time this shit happened with EJDirect I lost $27 and DID NOT (FE) AS I NEVER EVER EVER DO,FORFIT MY RIGHT TO RESOLUTION,NFW!
I have an open ticket with this vendor who SUPPOSEDLY had over 300 transaction with no FE its why I ordered.
SR needs a person who does nothing but watch out for this type of fucktard.
SO FAR this venture Ive lost 40+ dollars being held hostage by BIT INSTANT AKA BIT HELD UP,and am now hostage again while it gets decided
how much I get back this time.
I'm getting two dicks for being a loyal customer, and supporter to the fullest of DPR AND SR,Bit Instant can choke on a festering donkey dick.

NOTE : When I didnt (FE) with EJDirect AKA Binxter AKA FUCKTARD,I still lost 27$ so we will see about the 100%?

This scammer got me too! i had ordered the QP of grade B weed costing me and a friend investor out £450. It is a devastating blow but these things happen on sites like this and i just had to take it on the chin but unfortunately my friend had just bought a half Oz and sold that to chip in with me and lost all his efforts so far. Sadly i FE'd early so no refund for me but on seller request which Ive done with many trusted sellers before, so i thought it was routine. oh well D: >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Hi BKnick! Im sorry to hear about that. Actually feel bad for u . My heart sunk as well when canadian knowledge scammed me for 1 lb by . Im 90% sure its the same person because it was the same type of scam. Fake feedback and so on. The rules I have learnt over the past 3 years is never to FE. Only FE when u have established a good relationship with the vendor . Mad Mike why are u complaining about $27 when the guy got scammed for 6 g have a bit of respect ya zemme. I placed 1 oz order with legalize mj but didnt FE so I will get 100% back fosure.

Johnynola its bullshit I know we have to wait till the resolve button is active. Why should we wait when we have come to the conclusion that hes a scammer?The money is just sitting in escrow fluctuating whats the fuking point of making us wait.

I messaged them with all the tx info including my correspondences with him leading up to the transaction. Any chance they can help me out? He was a (100) trusted vendor but his page seems to have been taken down...

Yo mirrors 2695! Sorry to hear that! Did u FE? If u did FE u will not be able to get ur money back unfortunately however if u have not FE'd u should be able to get all ur money back. It takes up to 24h for SR support. It depends how busy they are. Usually its between 6-12 hours fr me . Hope this helps

When there is 5 days remaining to Finalize is when the resolution button is available . If he doesnt have a vendors page it means his sellers account has been closed due to scams. Let me know if u got other questions. Safe

Unfortunately SR support cannot assist you with MP for BTC transactions as they are out of escrow and given escrow is the means used by the admins when settling resolution matters they will be unable to help you recover your funds.

So has anyone gotten their money back yet? I put in for resolution yesterday morning but still haven't heard back yet. I gotta say I'm pretty tired of waiting at this point, and it's pretty shitty that SR Support won't just release funds from a guy who clearly scammed a shitload of people. Do we really have to wait to see if a package shows up? The guy was scamming, and he made 6K off of just one guy. If he happened to ship out an actual package or two that he didn't get the money for, so what? Fuck him. Meanwhile my money has just been depreciating this whole time, I made the buy when BTC was valued somewhere around $120 now its worth 30 bucks less. This is security? I didn't FE, I'm supposed to be protected. Instead my money is held hostage even after the guy is banned and when I finally do get it back it will likely be substantially less than what I paid.
