Title: Vendor's account locked.. now what?
Post by: EntropyCubed on June 12, 2013, 11:16 pm
So I have mad an order with a vendor who has had their Vendor account frozen. The vendor has ignored 7+ messages I have sent to him (though I have been periodically deleting these for obvious security reasons..)

What is the next step? My Bitcoins are still in Escrow but I would very much like it if Silk Road staff could shed some light on this situation since the vendor I am dealing with is clearly completely incompetent and/or a scammer.

im not sure since his vendor account was revoked but usually you will be able to enter resolution center after a period of time where you can request a 100% refund.

If the vendor has been demoted you should take the order into the resolution center as soon as that option becomes available to you and propose the resolution you are seeking, for more information on how escrow and the resolution center works please refer the the SR wiki, there is a link to the wiki in the sticky thread at the top of this board.

You may also wish to submit a customer support ticket via the market site requesting that your order be cancelled, in some circumstances the admins can do this without having to wait for the resolution center but that really depends on the circumstances behind why the vendor was demoted.
