Title: retroactive application of banned vendor refund stats?
Post by: tubbysoup on June 10, 2013, 03:51 am
I went through the resolution process and received a refund from a seller who had his vendor status revoked shortly thereafter.  Is there any chance of having that refund stat removed from my account?

I have no problem with having to defend my stance to subsequent vendors when I'm alone in my beliefs; but when the perspective of SR becomes aligned with mine, should I still need to explain my refund % to each concerned seller until I work that % back down?

This isn't a big issue to me either way, but I do think it would give other vendors a more accurate snapshot of my stats to have that refund stricken from the record after the shady vendor is banned, rather than to stick with a potentially alarming 20% refund rate that has to be whittled down over time.  Just my thoughts.  Thanks.

If the order was finalized after the vendor was demoted then I'm afraid the admins are very unlikely to amend your stats, in fact I'd say the chances are zero. Buyer stats are only ever amended in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the admin team on the market site.
