Title: Vendor: ContrabandOnDemand *Scammer*
Post by: StereoSUMMIT on April 26, 2013, 12:38 pm
I'm assuming ContrabandOnDemand (http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/ac5e457288/10) is already banned because his listings have been taken off. But I want to give a heads up to those that may have orders in transactions with him to not finalize.
I made the stupid mistake of FE'ing on a "huge order" (30 BTC @ 124 AUD).

A suggestion to some of the scamming going on:

I've had it confirmed by JoR that a vendor is able to change the price of an item and have the feedback from the old price attached to it.
E.g Vendor puts x500 pills listing for 0.01 btc and leaves fake feedback with his other account.
The vendor can then change x500 pills to 19.00 btc to make it look like people have actually bought the item while leaving fake feedback

My suggestion is that items should be date and/or price stamped at the time of the feedback to counter false feedback being left in this dodgy manner.

Also fe'd on Monday. There's been no word since because he ran off!

I highly doubt that we'll get our bitcoins back.
