Title: Depositing Bitcoins panic

Hello.

I am a new novice user of SR and am just getting started. In order to purchase some goods I bought bitcoins.

I subsequently deposited them in the place on SR as recommended in the buyers guide.

In order to use the bitcoins, I thought that I subsequently had to withdraw the bitcoins from the place I deposited them.

I clicked 'withdraw' and entered the deposit address -

It now says I have 0 bitcoins in my account but I have absolutely no idea where they have been withdrawn to! Can someone help me?

What btc address did you input into the withdraw field? Did you put your own deposit address? If so, it should just go back into your account.
Any help on this one scount or samesamebutdifferent?

Yes I put the deposit address into the withdrawl field. After the initial panic I have come to the same conclusion as you and am hoping that after a while for the transaction to go through it should just reappear in the original account.

Typical newbie thing to do.... I will let you know if this does not happen.

Yep, they'll make it back to you, but if you haven't seen them in 24 hours, go ahead and send a message to SR Support from the main site.

Please be careful next time, when they are sent they are gone and you can't get them back if you send them to the wrong btc wallet address.

Okay, thanks.  And for what it's worth, I suggest to all to hold tight with your investments.  This will pass and things will get better as the world economies continue to struggle.  Everyone loves a free market, but people like me simply don't have the expertise to use it.  I'm getting educated however.  Good luck all.

Indeed it will pass, I for one will be holding onto my coins until they recover, BTC has a very bright future and the uses for them grows daily.
