Have a question for all you out there. I sent a $300 MP to a vendor for bitcoins. The vendor had a listing up saying he had bitcoin. He messaged me asking if he could have a bitcoin address to send it to. I had dealt with this vendor before for a smaller amount and it was sent instantly over silkroad. Well I went ahead and gave my silk road deposit address to him and that was last night. It will soon be 24 hours since that communication. I sent a message earlier in the day asking if he could tell me when he sent my coins through and I sent another message 6 hours after that asking him to get back with me. Both messages have been unread and I can see that he has been on today and conducting business.That is strange to me because he has always got back to me within an hour. I'm not going to say the vendor just yet because I really don't want to tarnish anyones rep. So when do I call scam?

In 48 hours, name names.
I don't think much more can be said. Perhaps you want to rethink the way you get Bitcoins.

Thank you for your response. I have pretty much always used Sugar Mama and never had a problem. She had her MP's to bitcoins down so I thought I'd try someone else. At this point it looks like that was a bad idea. I have contacted silk road and I will name names at 48 hours if no response or coin has been given.

There are a lot of MP for BTC scams going down just now it seems, I really hope you get your coins but I suspect you got ripped, what are others saying on the forums re this vendor? anyone expressing issues?

I too am waiting on BTC from "xanax bar." it's been about 19 hours since I sent him my MP# and still no BTC. I sent him a message inquiring about the delay but he didn't even read it. i'm really disappointed 'cause he has some really awesome listings and a lot of good reviews and i was planning on ordering from him, but I guess he was too good to be true. here's hoping the BTC come through and i can come back and report on a positive experience!

i just checked my MP, seems like the money was still on it. i was able to use it to reload one of my prepaid cards, thus ...apologies to "xanax bar" if this all turns out to be a misunderstanding. if i do somehow end up receiving the BTC, i'll promptly return them to him. if anyone receives BTC from him, please let me know.

Hey everyone just wanted to give an update. The vendor had sent me a message last night saying that he was sorry and that I got skipped over...... the vendor said he would send me my coin in the morning for sure. I sent a message back saying that by the time I got off work it would be well past morning so if it was there all good but if not I'm calling scam. Well unfortunately i can't logon to freaking silk road so I can't tell you the final conclusion at the moment. Give it a few and check back for a further update

Im not trying to break your balls but he told me two days ago that he would have mine done in 1-2 hours and so he might very well be lieing to you, ether way i hope you get your coins

Yeah i reported him as a vendor i didnt message silk road support if thats what you mean cause they never do any good for me seriously ive made a lotta money from this site but have gotten robbed a lot as well

Hey everyone here's the final report. The vendor was xanax bar and he was supposed to have my $300 worth of coin in my account by this morning. Notice all the FE. Scammed. Lessoned learned.

incredibly he just posted a new listing advertising his BTC for sale for moneypak and still hasn't read either of the messages I sent him. i'm glad he hadn't gotten around to my moneypak yet, but i feel sorry for all these people FEing...

He almost got me for $825. I couldn't find any positive data about him on the forums and there were too many FE's on his page for my comfort so I pulled out.

After that he replied one more time saying he "fell asleep" and that I should surely have my money soon. That was two days ago today. I didn't FE but still sent the MP and I know there's no way of getting it back. Should have stuck to my usual people. I just wanted to warn everyone else as well. Although I don't see his page no longer on the site as a vendor.
QUESTION FOR MODS: I still have the order pending on my account and can't finalize or do nothing to it. Do I have to contact support in order to fix that? Thank you for your time!

Too be honest I do not know how this situation will be resolved given the MP is essentially OOE but is a transaction on your account, contact support and explain what has happened, you won't get your coins back but they will be able to fix the issue of the outstanding order sitting on your account, small consolation I know.
So many MP for BTC scams right now, please exercise caution!

I was having the same problem but I realized that the cancel button does not show you how many days until you can cancel anymore but after 4 days or so you will be able to cancel it yourself. The cancel button will allow you to click on it at that point but not before.

I rarely post but in the time that I've been posting about the xanax bar scam someone gave me a -1 karma. I get ripped off and then someone give's me a negative. What an asshole! :)
