Title: vendor refuses refund

i placed an order almost 3 weeks ago with indubitably. it was marked in transit, followed by a message asking me  to finalize. I refused, and requested cancellation. i recieved a message that said "done." when i asked about the time frame on a refund for the canceled order i am told that whoever told me to FE was not authorized to do that and my order had been processed.  i figured i'd give him the benefit of the doubt, but received nothing.  as transaction was about to auto finalize the vendor told me he thought i was a scammer, but he would "reship" if i would just release funds or refund 50% of my original purchase price.  there were no terms when the order was placed, so i can't be held to what wasn't there. i just want the coin back, i know i don't have a huge number of transactions, but that doesn't mean i deserve less protection, i though that was what the escrow system was for.

That sucks, do you mind telling us who the vendor was so we know to avoid them. . .

Actually I'm just flying through post replying to up my post count so I can post in the thread where my genuine input is needed.

You should have taken it straight to resolution when the vendor started to mess you about with claiming sent/not sent/asking for FE etc. The vendor should have just cancelled your order like discussed and agreed, anything else is the vendors issue not yours.

Escrow can only help you if you are in it, once you finalize SR support cannot and will not be able to help you. I am unclear on whether you have released any of the funds now or not? if you have not take it to resolution immediately and explain in detail to SR support what happened etc and that you want all of your coins back.

Post and update here when you know more.

i finalized nothing, it's still in the resolution center, and has been for a week. i have had no response from vendor since i extended the due date so it didn't autofinalize on me. really, i'm just tired of getting screwed around. I sent request for refund and an extension a week ago, vendor accepted the extra time, didn't respond to my refund request. I sent another request for a refund 2 days later, which was also ignored by the vendor. i just want my coin back, and made sure to follow all the rules to assure that would happen. thank you for your assistance.  also, how do i send a message to support? i tried to submit something about this situation and got this reply
 "Please refer all resolution matters to the resolution center.
                                  ~SR Support"

Glad to hear you are in escrow, you are already in contact with support as they will adjudicate on the matter if you and the vendor cannot come to an amicable agreement and if the vendor does not respond in resolution SR support are inclined to grant the resolution request of the last person to state their claim.
