So I have a compromised account (and I've already contacted support). I'm relatively new here and I have a payment waiting to be finalized, the items have shipped. I just want my mind put at ease - Is it correct that it will be four days from purchase before the user account can cancel this payment?

I'm not sure your question is clear. You're a buyer who placed an order and in the meantime your account was compromised? If your btc is in escrow, and you're waiting for your product, then you're fine, just finalise when you get your product. You can only cancel an order four days after purchase if the vendor has not marked the order as in transit. If there is an issue after that, you need to begin the resolution process.

Excellent, thank you. Sorry about being unclear, I was just trying to be concise. I'm a buyer and the account was compromised and I don't have access to it at the moment. The BTC is in escrow waiting to be finalized when I receive the item. I just wanted to be sure that whoever has access to my account in the meantime cannot cancel the payment. Thank you, my mind is at ease for now, now I just have to wait for support to get back to me. :)

If the order you are referring to has been marked as in transit then the order can be finalized however I sincerely doubt that will be on the agenda of whoever does have access, I am assuming you tried to log in via a phishing site and gave out your pin number? they will be more interested in stealing any coins from your account rather than your outstanding orders. Hopefully SR support will have locked your account in time and reset your pass phrase etc.

Indeed. Luckily I had very very little there to take, so I'm not phased about that I just wanted to make sure the seller got his BTC.
I feel quite foolish, I'm usually very security conscious I just have very little experience with SR and didn't stop to think twice about entering the PIN. Lesson learned and it won't be happening again. I've not heard from support yet, but I'm confident everything should work out fine as the items in question have been marked "in transit".
