Did scan the FAQ section but I am still trying to figure out if going through the "Resolution/Resolve" option a requirement in order to get a refund.
My order has been in transit since March 7th (domestic order) and I only have 5 more days to left before Auto-Finalize which means I let 2 days go by as SR gives you 7 days. The communication has been great between me and the vendor and told me that he will refund me if the order does not arrive by today. He told me this a few days ago.
Should I still go ahead and hit "Resolve" or is it completely fine to try to work it out without hitting that button?

I would take it to resolution now to avoid the order auto finalizing in 2 days, as soon as you click on resolve an additional 5 days it added to the auto finalize date. Just request an extension to give you and the vendor more time to resolve things, that is what the resolution process is all about. SR support only get involved if you and the vendor are unable to come to an agreement.
