Title: Lucydrop scammer
Post by: dretheral on March 15, 2013, 02:42 pm
his account page: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion.to/silkroad/user/af2431a628
So it's clear now from his past reviews and this review thread dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=59440.0
I FE'd like a lot of other people because I trusted him, people are still finalizing early and you tell me that Silkroad will not refund the money that was finalised early?

So they are just going to allow him to continue getting money from people that FE or is Silkroad just going to take those bitcoins for themselves lol? where is that money going?

First, I'm sorry you've lost money.  I was scammed when I first started here as well.  It was also because I FE'd.

That is why everyone, including DPR and SR staff, will tell you to NEVER FE!!!  That's the entire reason for escrow.  If a vendor requires FE it's your choice whether to take the risk.

You've already given away your money.  There is no way to prove you didn't receive your order.  SR support is not going to refund your coins.

You've made the same mistake as almost every newb.  But now you know...

...NEVER FINALIZE EARLY!!!!

if they doesnt help you after FE, it should not be allowed in the first place (I mean the sellers shouldn't be allowed to request this)

If you have no stats or have poor stats (refunds on every other order), why wouldn't the seller ask for a FE to protect himself? Or what if the order is for a very large amount, bigger than your history combined?

FEs do have uses.

I to have been victimized by lucy drop! Yes I am a newbie, this was my very 1st order on SR. Talk about a bad taste in your mouth. It looks like his issues just started within the last month. How many people can he burn until you guys do something about it?

This vendor has been brought to the attention of DPR and the admins for investigation.

I ordered to Australia while he was sending there..
I gave it 2 months but he remained in contact. He gave me all my money back as nothing ever sufficed in the mail.
This was back in September last year

I FE'd too. chin up.

If only there were a way to rally all Lucydrop's victims together, and start a bitcoin fund for street justice. A bounty of sorts. There's gotta be someone with some way to exact punishment.

I gotta figure there's a hole somewhere inside any intelligent person who would be willing to steal so much money from so many people they don't know, but I wouldn't mind some more holes put in them.

I ordered from Tess and had no issues,  no asking to FE,  no hassle, great product, great stealth.

That logic I hear would lead you to think any vendor is THAT vendor.   Like it was just said,  the problem is the FE,  that should be a very limited option and should not be allowed and or monitored.

I look at it like this,  SR is DPR's baby,  his/her project and vision,  so I do not get how a Lucy scam went on as long as it has.   Yes there is a report vendor button, and you know it was used,  but this was bigger then that, has been bigger then that, for a long time, and has been allowed to continue.        And why?   DPR and all the founding members are smarter then me, smarter then most.   This is a dropped ball and should be addressed.   Yes scout, it has to be investigated I know they have to take steps, but to allow that account to accept orders still, there is no logical reason for that.

Also, SR did make a cut off a huge amount of money, even if it was 1% that is 1% of a lie.     I am no math whiz, but it has to be several thousand dollars.   Now should that money be given back to people that continued to FE?  No, that was a live and learn mistake, and a fool and his money are easily separated.   However,  make it public what the cut was, and use that for something good,  like some measure to prevent this kind of thing from happening again,  give someone on the board of directors a pay increase who's one and only job is to monitor huge red flag FE situations like this Lucy circus?    Work with me here,  something.... something,  do not just damage the integrity of the DPR name or SR for that matter by saying and doing nothing.

This brings a end to my thoughts I apologize if they didn't flow in a easy to read fashion.       To sum it up.     DPR address this, it seems to be over,  but restore some faith that you can keep this from happening again.     Wasn't it multiple thousands?          And  Tess has done nothing to deserve a finger pointed at him,  so come on people, until someone gives you a reason to doubt them, don't.     The end.

Well said +1 for you...

I feel the same way...SR did profit from this scam and I feel if scams hurt SR financialy as well as thier customers thjey might be more proactive in rooting them out and stopping them in thier tracks...

This LD scam went on for months and the whole community was well aware of it and nothing was done untill far, far too late IMHO!!!

I 3rd this, I could not have honestly typed a better reply to all this. This situation doesn't involve me but implement this mans advice x10

I have spent over 25 thousand on this account here... and much more overall ;)

I have lost so many times to the silly "trust me I'm not a scammer cons" and FE scams...

Latest one that I avoided was this LucyDrop.... I knew there was something wrong when I inquire about buying bulk from CA to USA. I wanted to buy between 1,000 and 5,000 tabs.

They told me 4,000 per 1,000. and FE FE FE all the way up... hmm.. seeing as I have never had a refund and have spent tens of thousands.. you wont even divide up packages and let me stay even half way in escrow with my multiple orders of a few hundred at a time? FUCKING SCAMMER SCUM.

There is nothing that DPR & Friends can do here. They (LucyDrop) probably have an auto-withdrawal set up to their account to forward their stolen coins to their wallet off of SR. Unfortunately as I had to, everyone who feels the scam pains needs to learn and educate others!!! Go back on Newbie forums and remind others not to FE unless you are completely okay with losing all of that money.

Good Luck~ Hopefully no one has lost too bad off of this clown ;) Supposedly vendor No FE Ever has some good Acid and they are coming out with amounts up to a sheet.. USA domestic as well...
