Title: What to do if vendor does not respond to resolution?
Post by: ErgoProxy on March 14, 2013, 07:22 am
Greetings, all. I hope this message finds you all well.

Right, to the point. I submitted a request via resolution, and I am hoping the vendor is not ignoring it. Also, I sent a message to support a couple days ago. So I am unsure what to do if time runs out, with just 3 days remaining.  If time runs out and nobody responds, does support jump in?

May I get some advice? Thanks so much for reading.

Happened to me before, the only thing I did was: nothing.

If your request, or resolution offer or whatever they are called, is the last one and the Vendor´s not responding at all... All I can say when it happened to me that where to my favor because Staff want us to try to fix things on our own but if they clearly can see that you´v been "open for discussion", but the Vendor has not, then they will probably rule in your favor.

As one last thing before the time runs out, write one last resolution about how you´v tried to fix things and you can make a new request as well, claim more because of the Vendor not giving a shit etc etc...

Peace

+1 to you, my friend. Thank you so much for taking the time.

I have a sneaking suspicion they will not rule in my favor. Even if I do have a very good record, the vendor has an even better one. But I refuse to give up. Thanks again, and be well.

Please refer to the SR wiki to read how resolutions are handled.

thanks much, mod. I was just a bit nervous because messages not being read, and no response in resolution. You'd think a vendor would see it, but I suppose there could be unforeseen circumstances, etc.  I just dont want the 3 days to run out, and I get no chance to speak out.

Take care.

EDIT: Hm, so would that be before the 3 days is up , do they jump in before that? It does not specify , is why I ask.

Sometimes the vendor doesn't respond, I've got one myself about to expire in a few hours and the vendor hasn't responded in which case SR support will make a decision.
