Title: Overseas order on day 20 In Transit. Need some advice.
Post by: DonQuijote on March 03, 2013, 01:50 am
Wish I could post this on a more popular thread but unfortunately I'm but a newb on the forums. Not to the game...at all.

Here's the deal. I placed an order. Its been 20 days since he mailed them, and still nothing.. Here's my questions.

1.) Can they (customs, DEA, Cops. ect) hold my package until they have a search warrant?

2.) How much longer should I wait before I give up hope.

3.) What exactly does customs do when they Seize packages?

4.) If the vendor sends another package in compensation for the seized package and they catch it threw customs and its still your Address on the package... Lightning usually doesn't strike in the same place twice. I believe that would justified as consent to search. Just not completly possitive if that's the case or not.

Answer's will equate to lower stress levels. Help calm my nerves please.

What country did you order from?

You say you are not a newb to the game yet you are ordering to your home address and asking whether or not you should keep ordering to the same address even after suspecting an intercept, I'll leave you to ponder the answer to that one.

What will LE do, well that all depends on the quantity seized and what country you are in, again I am assuming the US given your reference to DEA. From what I have read on the forums re US customs they generally do fuck all for small intercepts but do not be complacent, the seizure will be logged somewhere and if they intercept anything else going to the same place you could very likely find your self in the hot seat.

Change up, get a safe drop, contact the vendor and see when your order was actually shipped and not just marked in transit as there can often been a few days lag.

International orders can take several weeks depending on which country, vendor etc.

Hope that helps.

Somewhat. Thanks. Although the flame was unnecessary, that was the confirmation I needed. I prefer not to go into details about the order but I can say this much, It was a Europe to U.S. delivery.

Sorry if my initial response was slightly terse, only have your safety in mind at the end of day, it's not a good idea to order to your home address and one no show should burn an address.

Hope it works out ok and your order arrives safely, 20+ days is starting to get into the upper end of whats normal though but you may still get a result.

No hard feelings. I received a refund so everything is gravy. What are some alternative methods of shipment addresses other than your home of residence? Is there a thread you could maybe point me towards? I've always pondered alternative methods but never had any good ideas. Thanks for advice btw.

Once a package from canada, went to a wrong adress in USA. Then it came back to the seller (thx TnT)

Then he send it again to good adress in EU :)

Whole process took like a month.

But no problem at all :)

I'm not informed enough on how things work in the US to give you credible advice mate I'm afraid mate, if you lived in AU I could give you a fool proof system. Probably a good idea to PM some forum members in the US and ask for advice, that kind of info doesn't get openly posted on here for good reason.
