There has been plenty of discussion around these forums about EnterTheMatrix and his dodgy practices over the last week but I'm posting mine here, since it's the only place I can post.
Basically, I've made only two purchases (so I am a true noobie). The first was 5 LSD blotters from EtM which I received very quickly. I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the tabs which definitely didn't seem to add up to the advertised 250ug, but never-the-less I was ready to make another purchase because he offered me free postage.
So on 18/02, I ordered my second purchase, a mini-candy flipping pack (5 LSD blotters & 500mg of MDMA). He did request that I FE because it was my first purchase. I responded by saying it was not my first purchase and that I would not FE anyway from what I'd read here. Now, a full 7 days on, having not received my package and getting no response from EtM, I searched the forums and it very quickly became clear that he'd taken what he could and buggered off.
Because I didn't FE, I assume I'm good for my cash and Escrow will protect me as it should... but I have some other questions...
The orders page is telling me that I must wait a further 4 days before moving to resolve. Normally this would be 100% fair, give the seller a good chance to deliver before making an issue of it. Problem is, I think that it's now VERY clear that he didn't send my package and I want my cash back so I can make another purchase. I really want to get a hold of some gear for this weekend and by this rate, that won't happen. I don't know how long it takes for the resolution to go through but I prob won't have my cash back in time to make the purchase that I want.
Furthermore, as I understand, I will now have a tarnished refund history! With only 2 sales and 1 refund, I'm not so sure that any other sellers will do business with me despite the fact that I'm just an honest Joe trying to make and honest, be it illegal, transaction.
Given that this is clearly an especially different situation to a normal resolution, is there some other process I can go through? Can I contact SR somehow to discuss the situation? How can I get my cash back ASAP? Am I better off ditching my account after getting my cash and starting again with a clean record...?

Had the order moved into 'transit' on the order page or was it still 'processing' ?
If the order had not been processed you should receive a 100% refund without having to do anything as SR support will cancel all of those automatically now the scam has been established. If the order was 'in transit' you will need to take it through resolution and request a 100% refund which should also be granted without any issues.
You are very lucky you refused to FE!

Thats sucks, ya know why? EntertheMatrix did the SAME five tab LSD burn on me as my first first purchase on SR. I was sooo happy when it finally got here and imagine how let down i was. YOUR mistake was ordering with them AGAIN! Why do that? You'll get your money back, the powers that be know about ETM's tricks.
His last bullshit attempt was going into the LSD AVenger's Thread saying he had a "2nd batch" of 200ug tabs and he would take care of EVERYONE that has the transaction number of the bunk LSD, lol, earlier today I heard he's now gone rouge....

No way to speed things up I am afraid, take it to resolution as soon as you can and state your claim and request a 100% refund.
I am informed your stats will not be affected.

Fuck I love SR. Despite being fucked around royally by EtM, I love that the system protects me and makes it secure and safe for me to experiment with drugs. I've tried buying acid through some fucking dodgy-assed dealers in my time, and never having to see anyone really makes the difference for me.

similar thing happened to me, he requested FE, i said no way, i have a history, and escrow is fine, now he is gone, my order is sitting in-transit, i already reported the vendor, saying i dont want to get a bad rep as a buyer, so now i have to wait 9 days to resolve,
just lucky i didnt FE, then again, im never going to FE

It seems a SR admin has stepped in and fixed everything up. I received a 100% refund and it went through as a successful transaction on my buyer history.
So I would imagine that you'll get something similar raveplaya

Man that so sucks these guys give good vendors such a bad name and its what makes us all sketchy about buying. Its one thing if things fuck up because of the post or sent to wrong address. But not sending the product is inexcusable anyway thank you all for giving us the heads up and not just keeping this info to yourself. I am sure I speak for alot of us when I say we really appreciate it. hopefully your next deal goes better.

Jeez sorry to hear so many people got stung so bad. Hope your future experience on the road goes better. Not everyone is a scammer and I am sure you will find good vendors.
Good to hear some people did not FE so some of you can get refunded.
Have a question for they buyers who stated the product was below average. How did you rate the vendor?
If you gave a 5/5 that is,in part how people get high stats. It isn't your fault. It is just a flaw in the rating system. Most buyers don't accurately rate vendors because they are afraid other vendors won't work with them.
This isn't far to the great vendors because their stats are no better than mediocre vendors.
I do wish you luck on future dealings here. At least now you know not to FE and to research vendors before placing an order.

I have a question regarding what happens to a Demoted Vendor's Account.... which buttons will disappear?
As you may know, when you upgrade an account to Vendor Status, you instantly gain more Links and Buttons.
My assumption is that a Demoted Vendor instantly loses these buttons and may not even have access to
some of the required pages for re-ship or whatever your case may have needed at the time.
So if in your case, your Item is Processing.... you should be able to cancel and it wont effect your refund rate.
If he marked it in transit.... and by SR rules he deleted your shipping info.... There may not be anything that can be done
unless the x-vendor answers your messages.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of how Demoting a Vendor works.... there aren't many Human Beings who would continue
to send people's product out knowing that their Vendor account is Permanently dead and cannot be recovered.
So, again.... unfortunately, due to the nature of Human Kind....
The x-vendor takes YOUR btc and transfers it to a new name, pays the Vendor Bond...
Then sends all leftover BTC to a bogus Buyer account.
Makes Listings for brand new product and sets the price to .03BTC.
Orders 300 separate transactions from himself.
Raises the price of his product to actual normal drug prices.
and will be vending again in 15 minutes with 100% feedback from 300 transactions.
Newbies are EXTREMELY susceptible to this trick.
Just cause a vendor has 300 Transactions don't mean they were Real transactions.
Follow your vendors in the forums.
Watch how they behave in the forums.

His trick was to create an online visual selling point that was designed in a way that made newbs trust him. He was always harping on about "NEVER FINALIZE EARLY" and he even started talking about customs in a way that made australian customs the toughest in the world, he did this to trick locals into buying his product rather than OS>
And he was buying OS product at cheap prices, cutting it with crap and then reselling it. In total Matrix fucked SR good and proper.
What pisses me off are the buyers who kept going back to him even though he was ripping them off. I called him a few times about his pathetic prices but was shot down by his fanbois..well guess who's laughing at them now..me.
Others warned newbs to stay away from him and go to cheaper options..but nope ETM was the man. He was called out so many times about his LSD months ago yet people still flocked to his product.
He also pushed up local prices..a fucktard thing to do. When i first used SR local aust vendors were few and they charged reasonable prices. Then this fucktard came along and doubled all prices, tricked the community with his fucken annoying ads and then every other local vendor in order to compete then raised their prices.
I hope he gets found out, but i doubt it.

I have to admit, my first purchase of MDMA was through ETM. The main reason? He had a "professional" appeal, in that he conducted his online listings/store like a business as opposed to just some guy selling drugs. The prices were definitely high, but I looked at that as a sign of confidence that his/their product was better than some of the other cheaper, not-as-good looking products. A week after I purchased the gram of MDMA at around 12.5 BTC, the price dropped to around 7BTC (I believe in part due to competition from Neon Lights).
Now that I've been on here for nearly a month and have got a handful of transactions under my belt, I know that every vendor is as (un)reliable as the next when it comes to the quality of their product. Anyone can say that their stuff is 100% uncut premium lab grade pure, but at the end of the day as the consumer, you will never really know until you get it and test it.
I just hope that other trusted vendors don't see this as a way to make some quick cash, and then start up again fresh with discounted prices, wash, rinse, repeat.

I am a buyer only, here for the pleasure. If I get ripped I say by who. I do not give a fuck about the money. because that person is all the shit in the sewer to me. That being said. They would have no one to rip off if we were not here to take advantage of. You're in a different fucking world here kids. You're put in with big timers and small timers alike. chalk the shit up as learning and hope they get theirs in the end.

Is that 300 fake reviews theory really possible ?
That's quite scary. Is that really possible to forge 300 feedbacks ? Tor seems so slow sometimes I wonder how much time you would need to do so...
Somehow I may not fully realize how big SR is and how hard it must be to catch these fake reviews.

^ regarding the fake reviews, I think it'd be pretty obvious if a vendor who has been a member for less than a week has 300+ feedback as well as little to no fans. I guess what it comes down to is if you're unsure, jump on the forums and search their username. If you can't find a thread, start a new one and wait and see if anyone else has actually purchased from them!

A birdy told me that the Aus Fed Police have been buying things from ETM for a while now - from there they have back traced a location of where the parcels originated from via Oz post then gone to CCTV at those outlets and correlated it with the times the packages where sent
he will come to justice
still though - us poor Fuckin Aussies pay a premium for a product and that is even if we can convince vendors to send to us

Personally, I hope that they DON'T catch him. Lets face it, what he did was a cunt act but if they can find him they can find other sellers. The anonymity that protects us all from the law is also what protected him from everyone he ripped off.
My reasons for picking EtM were similar to @iliketurtles, he looked professional and gave off a vibe of intelligence. And besides, his prices were great for domestic purchases, especially his last lot which he had applied a massive discount to just before he bailed. It's true that his product sucked the first time but I took an offer of free shipping none-the-less.
I won't make that mistake twice.
And I will NEVER FE.

So I'll admit I got done in the scam too. And for all the reasons people have listed above; professional looking site, higher prices indicating better quality etc, and the whole FE for noobs etc.
But you have to look on the bright side right? I had a naive view that if I was buying from Aussies, then we're all kind of in the same island boat together which I hoped would give some sort of loyalty to each other. How wrong I was! So I learned a lesson, some of the vendors on here are no better than a street dealer from fortitude valley, cabramatta or footscray.
Obviously now I have learned the value of the forums and the benefit in here of researching your next vendor. So another thing to look on the bright side of.
And, yes it does suck to be ripped off, but at least it was only in the range of $100 for me. I feel so bad for the peeps that lost $2k+. So on the bright side for me, I learned a $100 lesson.
So I cracked open a beer, (and this is only me, and the way I deal with it, I by no way mean to lesson whatever you feel if you did get done for thousands), put my feet up, have a laugh at how many times I read to never, never, ever FE and know that no cunt will ever do this to me again.

Just remember Escrow is for your protection once you release the funds there isn't really anything you can do besides score the vendor as needed.

Dammit. I always wait until I have product before I release the BC.
However last week, as I didn't have enough BC for the bigger vial of liquid LSD, I asked if he has smaller quantities he could supply... Which of course he said he did, but I'd have to send funds directly as it wasn't a listing.
I didn't think anything of it as I thought he was doing me a solid. I even transferred an extra BC for the trouble.
Oh well, lesson learnt.

Ah damn I just came back to SR after my first purchase a couple of months ago. ETM was a great vendor to me and I came back just to purchase off him. I guess I'm lucky I'm a few days short of getting ripped off. Phew!

NinHao, if you saw what went down and how it went down, you'd know that he didn't get busted -- he simply scammed a whole bunch of Roadies of their bitcoins by asking them to finalise early.
I expect to see a couple of new local vendors popping up in a month or so's time with competitive prices, and watch them rise over the months to follow...

I told u muthafuckas 2 months ago this guy was a scamming piece of shit,every post i made on the forum included a mention that this guy was a cunt of the highest order and not to buy of him but no one listened to the noob.
No matter who is posting on the forum warning of a scam,whether he has 1 post or 1 buy to his name everyone should take heed and not risk buying of the mentioned vendor cause the chances of the post being legit is about 50/50 and who wants to take a 50% chance of being scammed?
