How did you FE it it's still processing? Do you even know what FE is? Go ahead and cancel the order. Money is gonna be back in your account immediately.

So here is how it is supposed to work: you make an order, your btc is taken from your account and put in escrow, the order is processing, then in transit, then you receive it, then you finalize and leave feedback, and the btc you put in escrow is moved from escrow to the vendor's account.

When you FE (finalize early), what you are doing is saying: "I trust the vendor so much that I am willing to bypass the entire escrow system and just give the seller my money upfront without having received anything in the mail."  In effect, you are giving your money to the vendor just as if you had received the items you ordered.

Is this what you did?  If so, it is likely that you will not have any method of recourse because you have already certified to the Silk Road that you have received the goods (finalized, that is).  If you do not use the escrow system correctly, then there is no way that you can resolve this transaction.

Normally, if you followed the order of events I outlined in the first paragraph: if you had not received the goods, then you have the option of resolving the transaction through the Silk Road's customer support system.  This resolution process determines who is at fault and who deserves the btc that is in the escrow account.  In other words, when the seller marks their goods as "in transit", you normally have the option of either 'finalizing' or 'resolving' the transaction on your "order" page.  If you get the goods, then you would finalize, and if you did not get the goods and the seller did not respond appropriately to your messages, or didn't respond to your satisfaction, then you would 'resolve' the transaction.

If you finalized before the vendor even marked the goods as "in transit", then I really do not know if you have any option available to you.  My guess is that you are totally at the mercy of the seller, and you will likely not recover any of your funds.  Whether you ever receive the item you ordered will depend completely upon the vendor's discretion.

Usually, people do not finalize early unless the seller extremely well trusted by the buyer.  Take this as a lesson learned I suppose.  I am sorry that it turned out this way for you.

Your only viable option it seems to me is to try to message the Silk Road customer support to see if they will show you some mercy by attempting to help you.   :P

Best of luck to you regardless,
D

I want to note additionally that I am not even sure if you can finalize before the vendor marks the item as "in transit", which is what the previous poster I believe was hinting at.  If the item is "processing", then I think that you should be able to press the 'cancel' link on your order page corresponding with item in question.  The cancel link generally appears within some limited amount of time - like 24 hours or less I think - after you have placed the order, and your btc are in the escrow.  However, the seller has made no move yet to put the goods "in transit", and thus you have the option of cancelling the transaction because the vendor is moving too slowly.  Cancelling will get you your btc back from the escrow (however, I think that there may be some small penalty for cancelling an order, although I am not completely sure about this, so please do not rely on this as fact - it may only be the case if you try to cancel extremely early in the process).

Secondly, as the previous poster suggested, do you know what FE (finalizing early) means?  You should now know if you read my previous post.  Perhaps you don't know what it means.  Was this the case?  :P  Please let us know.

Best,
D

You cannot FE on an order that is still processing, you can only do it once the vendor changes the status of your order to 'in transit'.

If you want to cancel the order go to the order section in the main site, hover the mouse icon over where is says 'processing' and you will see a cancel order option appear.
