I know they can't send you anything illegal but what if they pose as a seller to collect addresses and blacklist them? anyone heard of them using this tactic?

It's possible I suppose, but entrapment laws are different all over the world it seems. If the title says: "ATM Hack" then they could argue that by buying the book, it was your intention to carry out illegal activities. Even if the ebook contains public domain info. (which most ebooks on here do, incidentally).
If a be vendor is selling *only* ebooks, be wary.
One thing I DO know, is that new buyers often buy a few cheap e-books to get their buying stats up, in order to avoid the whole unofficial FE for new customers, rule.
That's what I think about it anyway.

I would like to note that vendors selling digital goods are unable to see your home address unless you are foolish enough to enter it in the order form. The ATM hack for one, is delivered via a SR private message.

I use the atm ebook as an example, but you're absolutely right. Of course no-one will receive an ebook through the post. lol.

Do your research before buying from a vendor.

nah i dont think the pigs are worried about the users, they want the dealers. they would most likely pose there swine asses as a buyer and try to find out were the packages are coming from, cuase in their eyes you cant buy dope if its not for sale ya dig TUNECHI!!!

A certain amount of being cautious I think is warranted and will do you good when conducting transactions on the old road. By being more cautious you are less likely to be a dumb ass motherfucker and do something stupid. Would LE do something like that? Well most LE have way bigger fish to fry then somehow blacklisting you from receiving something. Plus logistically how would they do that? How would you get any mail then? Seems way to old school for LE.

Any vendor, and I'll say that again ANY vendor taking good precautions will not be tracked down by ordering from them, if you think/know different lets hear how that would happen?

Say I know I'm still offically a newbie and all , or who knows maybe not =p, but first off don't vendors have to purchase seller accounts though auction? Well I guess that wouldn't be that hard to do seeing LE usually has funds set aside for operations. I guess newbies are most vulnerable here. I've only been around 9 months, 2-3 actively and even I scrolled through every single cannabis page before I even chose a vendor, if your not doing the same you might as well be block coppn, cuz thats the risk your takin.

No, anyomne can buy a vendor account for $500.
If LE set up a honey trap they have one major obstacle, unless they are shipping real drugs then they are not going to get far are they apart from maybe some names and addresses of people who are trying to buy some drugs and if that is happening across international jurisdictions then good luck getting a warrant for erm... well trying to buy some drugs.
Only buy from established vendors if you are worried you may be lured into handing over some details to someone you do not trust, personally I never use my real name (not advisable in the US) and I only use anonymous drops so good luck hitting the front page with that bit premo intel in clandestine operation.

That's what I think about it anyway.
That's why most vendors have a transaction number prereq alongside a minimum prior purchase prereq. Most ebooks are pennies if not free so they say under 5 transactions as well as $250 in purchases to avoid that.

If some LE agency went to the trouble (waste of time imo) of setting up an account the only problem is the demand can never be stopped,it is like the octopus tentacle that gets cut off only to replace itself. I think they are more focused on shutting down the whole SR.
