If i have bitcoins in my SR wallet are they affected by the fluctuation of bitcoin value, or do they retain the same value as when they were deposited into my wallet?

They fluctuate. When you spend them they're worth whatever they're worth when they're spent. And, actually, that's not even true. When I deposited my BTCs, they were trading at $20USD per BTC. When I ordered my Klonopin, they were trading at $26USD/BTC. But, when I finalize payment, they may be worth a little more or less, and that's the value the seller will receive.

Bitcoins are worth what the market rate is for them at any given time, if they go up in value after you buy then happy days, if they go down then you lose out.
