i know it doesnt show up in the actual feedback section at the bottom of the venders page..
but will a 1/5 effect there % rating if its a custom order?

Actually it will show up so long as it was not a stealth listing.

I left feedback for a custom order that did not show up in the vendors feedback list, so I posed this question to SR Support and this was their response -
Q: "I'd just like to know if feedback i leave for custom orders (rather than general listings) shows up in the vendors feedback list?"
A: "Turns out that when that happens it means the listing was set up "in stealth". So if the vendor wants your feedback to show up, he needs to take the listing off stealth mode."

So a vendor looking to selective scam could stealth list the marks and the bad feedback wouldn't be a factor? Am I the only one that see's the potential for abuse here? I mean if your scamming eventually you'll get called out on the forums, hopefully. It just seems this would allow a scamming vendor to scam longer before being discovered. Or maybe I misunderstood.

Whether the feedback is visible or not(listing stealth or not), it should still affect the vendor's rating overall. People just won't be able to see why the rating is lower (if it's a 1/5) if its a stealth listing.

what is the benefit of a steath listing??? especially if feedback doesn't show up?

There are lots of reasons vendors may want to list items by invite only. Maybe he got a very limited supply of a highly valued product, and he wants to give his most frequent customers first crack at it. Or, maybe he wants to reward a customer who has placed many repeat orders with some kind of special listing that he doesn't want everyone to see. I think it's more about building business than it is about raw feedback numbers.

Yes unless its a stealth listing.
