Title: Suboxone for Mental Health?(Anxiety? Depression?)
Post by: xblackbladex on January 17, 2013, 10:10 am
When nothing else works(all psychotropic medications), could suboxone be a viable option for treating chronic depression and anxiety? It is safer than other opiates in the sense that it's harder to develop a tolerance and is harder to abuse. It has a very long half life. Any testimonials?

Try mdma, ketamine and mushrooms. All have been shown to have quality of life improvements that are long lasting, even from just one dosage. Just yesterday my almost 3 year long depression ended because of my recent mdma and mushroom use

bupe does have great anti anxiety properties but getting yourself hooked on a very strong opiod to treat anxiety is probably the most stupid thing I ever  heard. look into CBT, eat healthy food, meditate, exercise, these will all improve your mental health rather than rely on a drug. which in the long run will make you feel ten times worse, especially when you try to get off them.

If you need something constantly for your mood, recreational drugs aren't gonna completely cut it. My depression happens to be bipolar depression, and a mood stabilizer has been a serious help in that respect. Not all depression is depression, it can be a sign of a mood disorder. Regardless, talk to your doctor. If you must try a substance here for treating depression, i would recommend MDMA. It's like forced joy for a few hours, it really helps

true, sorry didn't want to make light of depression, bupe is not going to cure anything except an addiction to opiates though.

Didn't ask for critical opinions or to be advised to use other drugs. Already explored EVERY other option, everything is planned and calculated, already know what I'm getting myself into, blah blah blah. Just wanted to know if anyone else has used suboxone for this purpose. Hense the word "Testimonials". Testimonials, nothing else. If I wanted the preaching I'd go to church.

As far as you are concerned, I AM A DOCTOR. I am not getting into a debate I just want to know if anyone else has found that it has therapeutic effects for mental disorders. I personally have found that taking it sparingly when needed is far more effective than other shorter lasting opiates. It doesn't put a ware on me like other opiates do, and it allows for a good 2-3 days of relief due to its long half life. Very nice to use on stressful days.

MDMA is the complete opposite of what I need. Nobody knows my body like I do. I sincerely appreciate your input but I am not making this thread in search of advice, more as an inquiry to see if anyone else has found success from the approach I found most viable to take.

"As far as you are concerned, I AM A DOCTOR"

Doctors don't ask other drug users on an internet forum if opiates treat depression. Junkies do. If you want advice don't be a condescending asshole

I stated clearly that I DON'T WANT ADVICE. Please stop trolling my thread. I'm not arguing with you I made it crystal clear already.

This is your OP:"When nothing else works(all psychotropic medications), could suboxone be a viable option for treating chronic depression and anxiety? It is safer than other opiates in the sense that it's harder to develop a tolerance and is harder to abuse. It has a very long half life. Any testimonials? "

Next time read your own posts before [deleted text] and shouting how you didn't ask for advice k?

ou obviously misinterpreted my thread. Okay, let's analyze! I said "WHEN NOTHING ELSE WORKS." That implies NOTHING ELSE, so that includes MDMA, Shrooms, Ketamine, whatever the doctor can offer or whatever else weird substance you mentioned in great unnecessary repetition

Is it safer than other opiates in the sense that it's harder to develop a tolerance and is harder to abuse? That sentence was more of a statement looking for agreements and/or confirmations.

Obviously whatever you're doing for your mood disorder is not showing great results, telling by the volatility of your temper.

Thank you for ruining my thread. I reported you to the proper authorities for your use of profanity.

While that's fantastic and all, you just completely glazed over the fact where you never mentioned you didn't want advice. Which still makes you a douche for overreacting like a crazy person instead of kindly saying something "I have already tried those options, they didn't work for me" instead of the ragefest over a suggestion. This was a very suddle polite statement with a kick of sarcastic humor. In this statement I clearly identified that I did not want your opinions, advice or in your cases: preaching. You are so intent on finding a fight that you are now going at each others throats.

I am not going to give you an apology and I'm sure as hell not going to appeal to your bickering or insults. You are moaning like a pre-pubescent boy. I don't like you and I don't have to like you. Get over yourself and get off my thread.

Ignorance is stupidity. To make such an ethnocentric statement like "stupid American idiots" is ignorant. For anybody with an IQ over 75 what does this little riddle suggest?

Great i already despise you, seeing as you are an idiot who can't be polite, so you not wanting to talk to me is actually a positive. I am resorting to insults because clearly being polite has failed. Never in your OP did you say "didn't ask for critical opinions" as any mod will verify when they see if you have edited your OP. Also by the way every option would mean upwards of 50 different prescribed medications which i would believe to be impossible. Also that would include every recreational substance. So mr. i'm too smart for anyone's advice, why the fuck would you open an advice thread?

Try harder to make a strawman argument with absolutely no validity

I also stated very clearly that I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A DEBATE.
I stated this before any of the madness started.

Good let the moderator check to see if there were any edits, because there weren't.

Now lets see if you can read. Try reading your post to me right after that one where you are completely condescending for no reason. Again, you are a jackass

Also let's note that said advice was given before your statement of no advice.
