I just noticed that silkroad site now loads like it use to, showing the login screen, please note that when attempting to log in a message appears "Logins are restricted for the next few hours, please try again later."
New account Signups are also restricted.
Not 100% but im sure now it will be soon :)

I'm still getting the 'down for maintenance screen'. Fuck it though, if it is working for some, at least that is an improvement :)

Try restarting Tor, I had the same problem and that solved it for me.

The login is limited to vendors only to catch up with orders.
DPR: "UPDATE(0850 UTC): Silk Road is available once again, but on a limited basis. New user registrations are closed for the time being. Access is limited to vendors only. New deposits and withdrawals (and any that were sent just before or during the outage) will not be processed until some time in the next 24 hours. Assuming all goes well, access for all current members will be made available some time in the next 24 hours."
