Shipping / Re: PO Box controlled delivery - how would LE do it?
« on: February 10, 2013, 08:04 am »
You do realize you are invited everyone with an opinion to speculate on what they 'think' LE might do yeah? So please take all replies including mine below with a pinch of salt.

Controlled delivery attempt's to PO boxes are rare unless you have ordered a large amount of course. I can only comment on what I have heard can happen in my country and that has included LE obtaining CCTV footage of the person collecting the package and using that to build a case with other surveillance intel, basically letting the drugs through and then busting the person later.

I have also heard about the 'card in the box' scenario saying please come in and sign for your package which could go either way as sometimes everything is just fine and others not so much.

Bottom line there is HUGE amount of uninformed conjecture on here and very little substance of fact.

Let the speculation commence!  :P

This is driving me nuts, no that address that you gave me did not work. Is it just me or is the site down?

Can anyone else chime in if you are having any troubles?

Thanks again

It's been very hit and miss today, managed to log in a couple of times but then drops out. Not sure why, it happens occasionally usually at very busy times.

Silk Road discussion / Re: Busted again - end of my SR fun?
« on: February 10, 2013, 05:17 am »
Small update:  discussed the upcoming letter with my lawyer, he said there is no reason in the world for telling the police about it, just wait for it to come and do whatever i think best with it,  and that he is sure they are not going to catch it on the way...

Makes me feel a bit better, but lets wait and see :)

For what its worth I think that is excellent advice by your lawyer, was really worried as I read this thread you would go and talk to the cops re the in transit, not advisable! I'm really sorry to hear about your situation mate.

You may want to consider deleting this thread just to be extra safe in case they look into your SR use and link you to your posts, quite a lot of identifiable info in here mate. If you want me to delete it just let me know, your call.

Newbie discussion / Re: My shipper got raided by DEA
« on: February 10, 2013, 04:03 am »
My shipper was raided by DEA recently. They didn't find anything in his possession but they did have video of him shipping and surveillance pictures. They've been following him for a  few weeks. email account at safe-mail has been taken offline. He didn't say a word but I'm assuming they found a link between the website and my email. Not sure if they were monitoring it or not. I really hope not. I'm terrified that they were because that means they have a good amount of info.
So fml

This reeks of psyops.

Shipping / Re: DHL Express Shipping: "Handed Over To Customs"
« on: February 10, 2013, 01:31 am »
Its burnt IMO

I wouldn't def consider it burnt mate, weird it was handed over after clearing customs unless it was returned to the DHL facility and then was detected by a dog or something, I know DHL facilities have search operations conducted every few days by customs in AU, bloody unlucky if that's what happened.

Shipping / STEALTH THAT WORKS - DITCH THE PE FOOD GRADE VAC SEAL
« on: February 08, 2013, 11:54 pm »
For some time now I have been trying to draw attention in the forums to improved shipping and stealth standards that if used correctly actually BEAT canine detection, yes that's right dog proof!

Well I hear you say, surely if there is a CHEAP and EASY option then why are not all vendors using these methods and you know what I cannot fathom why they are not either.

>>> WAKE UP CALL --- FOOD GRADE PE VAC SEALING IS VAPOR PERMEABLE AND DETECTABLE IN FIFTEEN MINUTES <<<

Even triple sealing permeates in a few days so clearly when shipping to countries like Australia when items can be in transit for anything up to 20+ days vendors need to up their game and improve their standards.

So what is the answer? well happily there are a number of options available right now, in fact some vendors on SR are already selling them, see the links below:

All you need to know are:

* MBB - moisture barrier bags
* Mylar bags
* Heat seal foil bags

Some sources for these products I have found previously posted by vendor FarmerBob are listed below (CLEAR NET):

http://www.qsource.com/s-40-3m-scc-dri-shield-3000-moisture-barrier-bags.aspx (large bags $100 - 100 pack)  You can cut/seal 2 or three small bags from each large bag.

http://www.qsource.com/s-39-3m-scc-dri-shield-2000-moisture-barrier-bags.aspx (the 3.6 mil bags are OK, cheaper, smaller, $13 per hundred)

Alternate suppliers:
http://www.moisturebarrierbags.com/index.html
http://texastechnologies.com/moisture-control/moisture-barrier-bag/dri-shield-3000.htm

It has also been brought to my attention that caution should be exercised when sourcing these materials to ensure the sale cannot be traced back to you

Discussion on this topic has been going on for several months across several other threads, for anyone interested please read:

A non permeable layer must be included, for example when shipping small quantities of powders the layering can consist of a few variations, it may be a good idea to dispense with the zip lock baggy as the zip can be felt through the envelope. The use of double MBB cleaning each thoroughly with isotropic alcohol to remove any particle traces is one very effective method. The final stage must of course be done in a clean environment to avoid transferring any particle residue to the outer packaging, wear gloves and discard before completing this stage.

The best stealth is sometimes the simplest, envelopes must be as flat as possible with all the usual norms that make them blend into the thousands of others going through the system. If an envelope is singled out for extra attention it's gone, that usually only happens when a dog reacts to it.

VENDORS ALREADY USING THESE METHODS ARE LISTED BELOW

>>> Please note that the vendors listed below are done so solely on their use of non permeable stealth packaging techniques as advised by the vendor. No other factors have been considered at this time so you are strongly encouraged to fully research any vendor before placing an order <<<

========================================================================================

HOW IS MAIL SORTED

When planning your packaging, take into consideration this procedure which is not specific to a particular country (only applies for letters not parcels)  -

1. Mail arrives into said country in a big sack containing hundreds/thousands of letters.

2. If arriving from a "flagged" country it's directed to sorting area A in which mail undergoes extra scrutiny, if from non-flagged country it's directed to sorting area B for normal manual sorting.

3. At the designated sorting area, all the mail is poured onto a sorting tray and manually sorted, with the sorter removing anything that's oversize, damaged or suspicious looking (again there would be guidelines the sorters follow based on profiling and gathered intelligence). Over-sized items are sent to the parcel area, damaged items are repaired or destroyed and suspicious letters are inspected further (manual, x-ray or dog)

4. Once manual sorting is done, the mail is sent down a conveyor belt to the automatic sorting machine, while going down the conveyor belt, a drug detection dog runs over all mail heading down and alerts to letters containing whatever the dog is trained to find, these are in turn removed for further inspection (manual or x-ray) the rest carry on to the machine and are sent for distribution around the country.

5. Any mail that can't be automatically sorted for distribution (usually due to addresses in the wrong format, hand written messily, too thick to fit etc) are manually sorted again.

So using the above information, one case see that the risk areas are - the country of origin, the initial manual sorter, the drug detection dog and the final automatic sorting machine.

Country of Origin - The intelligence on which particular countries the receiving country has "flagged' isn't made publicly available but one could assume they include - The Netherlands, Belgium, Colombia, Bolivia, Peru, China, Vietnam, Thailand among others. As well as countries added based on intelligence received and profiling.

Initial Mail Sorter - Has to manually sort hundreds of letters at once, so make sure your letter doesn't attract a second glimpse. Ensure you use a high quality envelope, not a cheap one that's thin and soft and likely to tear. Ensure it looks harmless and boring from the outside, and ensure it's as thin as possible and packaged so the contents cannot be felt if handled and so that if handled, it feels like paper inside, not a foil bag!

Drug detection dog - USE MOISTURE BARRIER BAGS! PE and Foil layered are the best, followed by PE and Mylar. You should be doing your packaging in a clean environment because if any molecules from your product end up on the outside of that bag or on the envelope, you've wasted your time and it will be detected.

Final Automatic Sorting Machine - Make sure the address is clearly readable and in the correct format for that country. Make sure your envelope is of a standard size. (see the first post of this thread for standard envelope sizes)

Use the above information and create your letters how you wish, if you still get any no-shows to a particular country, change what your letters look like because your current ones have been photographed and added to a database. This includes the return address and any identifiable logos etc.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

HOW TO ENSURE YOUR MAIL GOES THROUGH THE SORTING MACHINES WITHOUT NEEDING TO BE SORTED MANUALLY BY ONE OF THOSE PESKY HUMANS (AU SPECIFIC)

The info below is taken from the Australia Post guidelines for international mail, and they're based around the specs required for mail to go into the auto sorter machines, if a letter falls outside of these guidelines, there's a much bigger chance it will end up being manually sorted by a person. (when you receive a letter than doesn't have one of those faint orange barcodes on it, it means its been manually sorted. This doesn't apply to bulk mail that big companies send out to 1000's of people though)

Recommended Envelope Sizes and Max Weight and thickness -

Small Letter -
DL 110 mm × 220 mm   125g max
C6 114 mm × 162 mm   125g max

No more than 5mm thick

Large Letter -
C5 162 mm × 229 mm    125g max
C4 324 mm × 229 mm    250g max
B4 353 mm × 250 mm    250g max

No more than 20mm thick

Envelope Quality - White 100gsm Paper

Address Font  - Courier or Helvetica Font - 12 point or 10 pitch
It should contain no full stops or commas or other punctuation. You can use '/' but it's recommended not to.
There should be no advertising/logos etc near the address.
The street number should be 2 spaces away from the unit/suite number
The suburb and country should be in capitals
The post code should be 2 spaces away from the state
Characters should be between 2mm & 4mm tall
and between 0.3mm & 7mm wide
The space between lines from 1mm to 2.5mm

Address example -

John Smith
Suite 10  52 Silk Road
PORT HEADLAND WA  3001
AUSTRALIA

Some of these things are going to the extreme and probably not necessary, besides, the huge majority of orders make it without any issues anyway but if you want perfection, this is where it's at.

Guideline books (see these for the correct address layouts and where stamps, addresses and logos etc should/shouldn't be placed. -

***UPDATED 22nd FEB 13***

It's great to see this picking up up some momentum and kudos to those vendors who have already started to implement changes to their packaging techniques, as I said previously it is a win win situation for both vendors and buyers alike at no real extra cost.

I have been giving a lot of thought as to how to motivate and support more vendors to make the change as I do appreciate change processes generally don't just happen without a catalyst which in the market place is custom demand.

To help get the message out there I am now mentioning the non use of a non permeable layer in all my feedback and reviews on the forums. If everyone started to do that then it would really help to raise vendors awareness as well as educating buyers.

I would encourage everyone else to start doing the same, so lets see how that goes for a few weeks because I have more ideas on how to push this forward but they may not make me very popular ;-)

It's not a 'purported omniscience' when every single O/S vendor doesn't offer the same reship/refund rate to Australian customers opposed to other countries/continents.

Obviously a lot more seizures happen going to Australia.
Your customs are no better than UK customs, but they have an easier job because of the long transit times and odour leakage. A large percentage of orders I've received safely in the UK have been insufficiently packed to make it safely to Australia, a single vac seal will stink by the time it gets down under. Multiply that by the fact that even if we post orders at different offices or towns, they'll likely all end up in the same bag for Australia so when they nab one they find lots more.
I've never had a problem with your customs, and about 30% of my Salvia orders come from Australia, heat seal foil is cheaper than vac sealing so it doesn't cost more to be smellproof :)
I've also never had a problem with Aussie buyers scamming by claiming non delivery  :)

Hey PlutoPete, thanks for contributing and as always you are one of the very few who have seen the light with non permeable packaging, can you please start a discussion in the vendor forum on this topic, I could but I am not a vendor so it would probably be better received coming from someone such as yourself.

3536
I can't see that working.  The fact of the matter is only a small percentage of Australian consumers use the forums, and the forums are really the only place where such a product could be advertised effectively.  Every vendor and their dog advertise "stealth shipping" , merely adding "really good stealth shipping" won't change much regarding how often their product is purchased by Aussies.

I think a better solution would be to get an Australian reseller willing to sell at a lower markup.  I wouldn't even mind paying merely double the O/S price if it were domestic, and I'm pretty sure a 2x markup will still cover all the bases and net a tidy profit for the vendor.

There are quite a few aussies on here mate, not sure of the overall percentage compared to buyers but we are not small in number.

I still strongly promote the need for change in stealth and shipping practices and this is the place to build momentum.

3537
that sounds like a good idea to me mate, but it will have to wait until morning, i'm pretty stoned at the moment... ;) 8) (thanks to international vendor NoStress - you rock dude - recommend his 1g barney farms vanilla kush delivered for $30 - update: he's out of the kush, but i still recommend it when he has it)

i'll begin making a list of the worst offenders... i've got some good ideas floating around too for the layout and general feel of the page, think 'derryn hinch, shame, australia, shame!" but try not to think of Steve Vizard doing Hinch, cause then it just seems way too funny  lol

Alternatively to keep it proactive you could list the vendors in price order from the cheapest to the most expensive, that way it's not a vendor bashing exercise, it's a helpful list of options to help buyers make informed choices. That would hopefully promote some competition and highlight the disparity in what some are charging.

I'm still of the view if you don't like it don't but it but there are only a few reliable vendors not rorting and inflated prices will if not questioned become the established norm. No one can in all consciousness justify some of those prices you listed earlier, no fucking way.

3538
another top aussie seller has just upped their 100mg meth price from $75 to $100   - an appalling low for australia. you can find it on the top position of bestselling australian stimulants  :o :-[ :-\ :'( >:(

another aussie seller is selling pink meth for $80 per point - meth hcl should be clear or translucent shards, any other colors mean that it has not been cooked or cleaned properly.

How about editing the first page of this thread and have a list of the worst offenders in order of ridiculousness?

3539
What vendor is charging $216 for 500mg of MDMA + shipping?!?!? that is fucking scandalous!!

Lmao

500mg MDMA - $216.50 + ~$30 stealth express shipping - *puts gun to head* (3 good doses for someone that isnt a skinny little fucker with fuck all tolerance)

Yes it is samesame.... Hell the shipping alone is covering the cost of what the vendor would have paid for that entire 1/2gram....
This guy must shit diamonds or something to think he can charge that much and still sleep at night...

Simply put... Dont support GREEDY RIP OFFS, They are scamming within the rules....

Fallkniven
"Remember, if things ever go back to normal (which i highly doubt), then i will happily delete this thread."

I hope something comes of this thread and aus sellers start charging adequate prices, Everyone needs to make a buck but some sellers are trying to rape the aus sr community so the community needs to rape them back by letting them go on without making any money and let them sit on there stock for months without a single sale.....

I think you said it perfectly BB when you said do not support these greedy rip off merchants. how the hell can you justify $30 domestic shipping!? does it come in a gold envelope?

Anyone paying those prices either has more money than sense or is a complete tool. Sorry to anyone who has but seriously... what were you thinking!!

3540
Those prices are outfuckingrageous!!

ChemicalEnergy - care to comment on your pricing??
