Sometimes the sorting machines can damage envelopes, I had one arrive to AU virtually fully open at one end, contents still inside though but it scared the crap out of me at the time.

Well fortunately for you then you are in escrow. State your claim to SR support in an non emotive factual manner and if as you say the vendor is scamming then you can expect a full refund.

Why didn't you ask for an extension in resolution? just clicking resolve automatically adds 5 days. I usually do this if I get to day 16 and my order hasn't arrived yet so as to avoid the risk of SR downtime etc and having something auto-finalize.

Probably the cause of the wave of spam on this last time not only wanted to scam, if not, cause much deeper damage...but censoring the forum is probably what they were looking.

I have the same nickname in SK, and I spent 23.12 bitcoins (6 transactions, refund rate 0%)... I think that I and all users who are in similar circumstances (showing that they are buyers) should have the freedom to discuss where they want.
If everything continues like this, I'll have to go to the Newbies section and post up to 50 ... as some have done. But I will not get to that point, because it is unfair and also tor is very slow :(

If something sounded rude is because I have bad English, the only enemy is the damn spammers

I appreciate your frustration and I have received many messages from people expressing the same sentiments, sometimes quite vitriolic. However the new rule is working at containing the spam, just looking at the sheer number of spam threads in the newbie section speaks volumes and many are still asking the same questions that have been discussed to death which shows many are just not making any effort to invest the time to research and read the wealth of information contained within the forums before creating new threads, make of that what you will.

The sense of entitlement on here sometimes is palpable, many of the posts I have made in the newbie section seem to go unread as a lot of people seem more focused on simply posting spam to hit their 50 rather than educating themselves.

This rule has nothing to do with censorship, it was a response to combat the spammer/scammer threads (anyone notice the virwex and bitcointalks threads are gone?), it was also intended as far as I know to encourage new forum members to get orientated to forum etiquette before being let loose on all the other sub forums.

Hit your 50... it's not too onerous a task.

All machines i found cost between 1000 and 2000 USD that vacuum seal mylar bags.

I also want to implement these kinds of metal foil shipping into my stealth, but a machine that does them costs like 1000 dollars while a PE one costs 300 dollars.

As the post below says you do not need to vacuum seal the Mylar bags, as I stated in the OP you should vac seal once using normal methods then clean it to remove all traces of residue before putting into the non permeable layer. And yes I do believe hair straighteners can be used to seal, have a look at PlutoPete's listing in the OP for details of their system too.

Really pleased to see this getting some traction and interest, it is long overdue!

Hmm but it's a bit tricky, not vacuum sealing, since there's a chance the air will make the package feel bubbly, not flat anymore...

Any solution for this?

About the heat sealing thing, can you show me a (preferably european) site where i can order such a thing, that doesnt cost a fortune? (100-200 euros is affordable)

And now i get it I think. So like 2x PE vacuum sealing, and then once mylar sealed bag, is good enough?

Have another read of the first page IMB, you should still definitely  use at least one layer of vac seal, only the final layer needs to be non permeable. Either that or use the Moisture Barrier Bags (MBB).

It was just too easy after reading what happened with him and that mtljohn we had to pull the trigger and make it happen. DISAPPOINT ANYONE?? OH Mark, how will SR survive without you?? It wouldn't surprise me at all. ??? This prick is a scammer for sure. I had an O/S order with him which didn't arrive (a decent quantity, not just 1 gram). While I was of course disappointed, sometimes these things happen. I didn't FE by the way and the coins were still in escrow, UNHEDGED. After some discussion on what would happen next, we agreed that he would refund me 25% of the purchase price including shipping, (66.04 BTC) which I had paid to make my purchase,  still in Escrow, and re-ship me another 2 grams of charlie. I was as happy as one would be when an order doesn't arrive but at least an agreement had been reached with the vendor. I have all this documented in emails for verification. He said if I finalize the order, he will immediately send me 25% of the purchase price back including shipping. I asked him to send me an email detailing exactly what we had agreed upon, which he did. As it wasn't hedged, I should of received a refund of 16.51 BTC and a re-ship of 2 grams. He refunded me 11.12 BTC which he says was 25% of the $800 he paid for the gear. Naturally, i wasn't happy but remained diplomatic for the time being. When I said you agreed to refund me 25% of the purchase price and  haven't done so (5.39 BTC short) he said he was only refunding me 25% of the price he paid. This was a proposal that he offered me, which I accepted, not a demand by me. After some more email tennis which was going round in circles, I lowered my feedback to 2/5. A day later, he tried to blackmail me buy saying if I didn't immediately amend my feedback to 5/5, he would not re-ship the 2 grams he promised to re-send. I said the only way of me giving him a 5/5 was if he actually gave me a 25% refund as promised and I received the 2 gram re-ship. At this stage, I was waiting to see what happened before even leaving a comment on my feedback I'd left for the dickhead. He said that I won't be getting any more Bitcoin from him and as a result of the feedback score I had left him, he wasn't going to send me the 2 grams he had promised me. I then lowered my feedback score to 1 and left a comment to warn others. So to the fuck wit, Magic got my hand on my dick Mark, who couldn't pack a shelf let alone a stealthy package of illicit drugs, I hope you get what's coming your way. What goes around comes around cunt and your turn will come. :( :(

Seen it all before unfortunately Wadozo, anyone remember CanadianCowBoy? (or something like that), gets off to a flying start talking the talk sending out HQ samples then cuts and runs with a load of BTC. Low aspirations for some of these jokers it seems, I'm sworn off most Canadian new vendors these days (no offense to Canadians, love you guys) but too many vendors come on here and play the same scam time and time again. Better off sticking to the tried and tested honest and reputable vendors it seems to avoid this bullshit.

UK are pretty slack about it, not sure where they would be to be fair but Australia or NZ are probably the toughest.

And what evidence do you have to substantiate this claim?

I cannot comment on NZ but AU is not the toughest, comments like this just perpetuate the myth and FUD. No offense intended, I would openly admit they are harder than some but seriously the constant repeating of this type of comment just becomes established 'fact' without any factual evidence to back it up.

Ah the good old "if you come clean it will go better for you" tactic, you have to love how they sell their lies to trap you.

You did the right thing, you gave them nothing and they had nothing, hence you get to walk away a lot wiser and hopefully more careful in future.

Have heard the Scandinavian countries do this, i.e. make you come in and if you don't then issue a warrant so I get you had no choice, you should however have had your legal representation present with you though irrespective of whether you felt that may look more incriminating.

Glad you kept your wits about you and handled the situation well, pleasing to read someone actually takes the time to educate themselves on how to avoid nasty consequences.
