Customer support / Re: deposit not in my account

I know it is frustrating having this delay but I can assure you that if they are showing in the blockchain then SR support will resolve the issue for you, eventually.

Can you keep me updated on how things work out please.

If you are just asking for an extension I couldn't imagine a vendor not accepting it to be honest and if they didn't SR support may grant it anyway if your request is a reasonable one.

How long ago did you place your order?

And I am assuming its status still reads as 'processing'?

What does the vendor have stated on their vendor page regarding processing and shipping times?

If it stays like that for 5 or 6 days I think (I can't recall the precise number) then you can cancel it and get an immediate full refund. Before then though you are unable to do anything unless the vendor cancels the order for you, the delay is to stop buyers from cancelling their orders after the vendor has already shipped them, as a genera rule your order should be processed and shipped within 4 working days.

hey all

iv made 10 purchases on SR without a problem...i decided to go with another vendor as my old ones were not in stock.
i made the order Monday it was sent out Tuesday and should have been here Wensday, it is now thursday the postal service has been and i have not heard from the vendor or received my package.
last night i noticed the vendor went into stealth mode and has not replyed since Monday....the order was around $250 ....im not concerned about the cash, i just want to simply know what is going on but the vendor will not reply....
what should i do? atm im hoping they reply with a tracking number a a good excuse....

Name the vendor and read my response I posted just now re someone else who is experiencing vendor problems.

Why wait two more days, if they have given you a bogus DCN number then you should take it to the forums now before others get scammed to, or are you worried about blowing any remote chances of getting some coins back if you do?

To be honest if they have issued you with a fake DCN then they are actively conducting a scam or they have made a genuine mistake, so why don't you post something non accusatory on their vendor thread asking them for an explanation so you will at least alert others to a potential problem without damaging your chances of getting a refund if it was the latter scenario.

Namarrg0n is correct on all points I am afraid, once you finalize SR support cannot help you retrieve those coins even if the vendor is proven to be a scammer and has their vendor account banned, once you have released the coins they are with the recipient and the only way of getting them back would be from the vendor.

I am sorry your first experience wasn't a good one, it happens to most of us when we are first finding our feet on here, that is why it is so important no to FE and stay within the escrow system.

There are vendors out there who will let you stay in escrow, try sending them a polite introductory message so they can see you are a level headed person who will be easy to deal with, I  always suss out new vendors with a pm or two before buying from them for the first time as their response can tell you a lot about how they operate and how long it might take for them to respond, e.g. if I am waiting a week to get a 3 word response I probably wouldn't order based upon that factor alone as that says to me they are either too busy or too lazy to provide a good level of customer service, especially if you run into difficulties with your order.

And before any vendors flame me for making that statement I do fully appreciate that vendors get hundreds of stupid PM's every day asking retarded questions that could be answered by just taking the time to read the vendors page and responding to each one is very time consuming, those types of question should be responded to with a "read my FAQ".

Meatgrinder is right, you need to check the blockchain first to see where your coins are, if they are there and you have definitely sent them to the correct SR address then the issue is on our end and you will need to contact SR support.

3324
Providing you were making the order with coins that you legitimately had in your account and not those that were credited in error then SR support will resolve the issue for you, it just might take them longer than usual to get back to you as you are far from alone in having experienced issues since the roll back.

Can you please post back in this thread with an update when it is resolved.

Ta.

Shipping / Re: PO Box controlled delivery - how would LE do it?
« on: February 20, 2013, 06:04 am »
I'm no expert on US customs but from what i've read on here tracking is often unreliable and the status can sometimes go days without being updated.

Just out of interest what does the tracking status say when a shipment gets seized? does it just not progress beyond arrived at customs?

I've got no vested interest here and have no real understanding of kitkats situation and nor do I want too but I was quite shocked at some of the unhelpful comments posted in this thread. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but seriously whatever you may think about her just pause for a moment and consider what you are posting, sometimes if you can't say anything nice it's better to say nothing at all.

She needs professional help and whatever her reasons for posting in here she is clearly reaching out for something be that support, advise, attention or whatever, she certainly doesn't need yet more pain and misery.

At consider that before posting.

Momentum is definitely starting to build... just keep talking to your vendors and making them aware of this thread so they can see just how simple a transition it would be to implement these packaging methods.

(4) The package is mailed from a post office outside the zip code of the return address. This makes the return address seem iffy, which factors into number 4, below.

Very interesting post. The point stated above is probably something many vendors do. This is something I would do.

You would put a return address that didnt match the zip of the post office? Do you also put the return name as "mary juana"?

How the fuck did you end up with so much neg karma masterblaster? the posts I've been reading by you recently are either amusing or informative, that laser torch thing was quality!

« on: February 19, 2013, 10:39 pm »
I am not an expert by any chance but I know that some cameras have IR filters. Especially those intended for day time surveillance.
I have no idea about cctv cameras though, just do some research to be sure before you buy.

IR filtering does raise the bar for how much IR you have to output but it doesnt make it impossible.

Here's another idea, make a burning laser flashlight and fry their cameras, then come back the next day and deliver.

That's fucking mental!!

If you changed your password and then successfully logged in after but now can't you will need to contact SR support.

Are you 100% sure you are entering the correct passphrase?

So many people report this issue then come back on later and say they have manged to fix the problem, usually by getting the passphrase right  ;)
