Customer support / Re: deposit not in my account
« on: February 27, 2013, 10:20 pm »
I'm still waiting for my coins deposited on February 14th.  My message to support sent 11 days ago still hasn't been read.   >:(

You should contact them again if you haven't already done so, your initial message should have been read and/or responded to by now.

Sorry it is taking so long to resolve your issue, they will get there eventually I promise.

It happens a bit, but do some research on the forums and you should be fine :)

Some red flags to watch out for before ordering include:

1) a sudden increase in the number of FE transactions listed on the vendors feedback page

2) being contacted by the vendor and being asked to FE when normally you don't

3) a sudden 'too good to be true' price drop offering some sale offer

4) annoying asci in the vendors advertising

Just refuse to FE and you will be fine, escrow is there for a reason and those who do not use it should be treated with caution or avoided altogether.

Vote with your bit coins I say and only buy from vendors using safe methods, the more people who start doing that the more vendors will be incentivised to make the change.

It is still quite early days, my sticky only went up a few weeks ago so it will take a while for the word to spread amongst vendors and buyers alike. I've suggested buyers start to mention the non use of safe non permeable packaging in their feedback both on the main site and the forums including a post to the sticky as this will help to inform others and hopefully increase the uptake of using MBB's etc.
It's thanks to your sticky that I've been stockpiling MBBs of various sizes for when I start selling on here ;)

Out of curiosity, would you think that vac bagging is necessary in addition to a MBB or is ziplock/MBB likely to pass scrutiny?

It is really important to ensure all traces of residue are removed so if you vac seal once you can clean that thoroughly before putting in into the non permeable layer. You also need to ensure everything is prepared as FLAT AS POSSIBLE, any 'bulges' in the letter can draw attention and result in it being singled out for extra attention. I suppose providing you clean the MBB to remove all residue then the first vac seal may be overkill. Have a play around with various techniques and see how flat you can get it and go with the best option I guess.

I'd like to Recommend EnterTheMatrix to any newbs here even if he does ask you to FE as he can be trusted. Its just that Simple. and to not listen to anythink moksha says as he is still fairly new here.

BC

I was going to recommend winta® as it goes, usually only fucks off with everyone's coins about once every 6 months so is generally good to order if you time it right and he has great stats due to threatening buyers with releasing their shipping details unless they leave 5/5.

Moksha's recommendations should always be taken with a pinch of salt, I heard he was on the payroll of ETM being sent 15ug blotters as payment to help boost their stats with fake orders. One of his other shill accounts is Shiznit™, that's his more aggressive alter ego who he uses to call out benjew cunts when he has run out of free drugs.

I'd like to mention Boyd Crowder.

BC sells fantastic hashish.

I was sent me a free gram of his middle eastern hash last week to sample, and it was amazing.

I made my first order and received 3.5g's of his Moroccan hash today, which is beautiful to smoke and a great stoned.

Great vendor, great communication, packaging and very fast delivery times.

For amazing hashish, dont go past Boyd Crowder. ;)

^^^^ what he said

It really is some lovely hash, been years since I had anything remotely like it.

Your forum account log in is whatever you set it as mate, the two are not linked and I am not really sure how you would have been unsure re this to be honest??

Re not being able to log into SR, are you using the correct link? i.e. http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/

« on: February 26, 2013, 09:39 pm »
Ouch... This is the first I have seen of any real big problems with ETM, any link to where more is unfolding?

From my perspective, his prices were always a little high but they were advertised as such. I always knew if I bought from ETM I was getting great service and fantastic quality product, which was usually worth the higher price. It is disappointing and sad that something big is happening here. Sure does leave a big hole in the domestic market. Honestly, there were a dozen or so complaints in this thread compared to hundreds of high praise feedback on SR, to reach top 2% of sellers you HAVE to be doing something right, no matter what the naysayers and people with bad experiences say.

I really hope everything is ok with ETM above all else. About other issues or whatever is currently happening, I cannot say either way all I can say is ETM was great to me, providing fantastic product, good quality transactions,  and even healthy personal communication. If ETM is still seeing this, hope you are well. If people have been screwed over/scammed, then sorry for your loss and really disappointment is what I feel.

Really?

You may want to rethink that post before you become the target for everyone's animosity mate.

ETM is a scamming cunt.

FE is the same as going up to a street dealer asking him if he can get on and then agreeing for him to go across the road in the housing blocks with your money to get gear for him to never come back.

Don't do it and there should be some kind of warning/disclaimer on SR front page.

The SR buyers guide clearly warns people of the risks of FE, that is why most people are always warning others not to do it.
