I'm assuming you have finalized the order with the vendor?

If you have then the best you can do is keep trying to get the vendors attention and have a look on the forums to see if others have had issues, sometimes creating a thread and generating some discussion around things can motivate a vendor to be more receptive.

To be honest I signed up to troll for lulz by spamming nonsense with an avatar of someone jacking off and the username Jack N Hoff.  Around the time I acquired 50 posts and got out of the newbie section I started enjoying legitimate discussion and stopped with the bullshit and changed my avatar ;)  So I was getting reported for that huh?  I think a lot of people have me on their ignore list because of that too...  That's also how I earned my negative karma :)

Seeing as I made it my personal crusade to get vendors to ditch PE food saver vac seal and start using MBB's then yeah I'd say it's worth it, if using one method over another with no discernible price differential can make your order dog proof then why not do it. I suspect those mylar bags stuffed full of weed were not wiped down properly or packed in a clean environment.

Let's just hope the Breston's of this world with their super senses are few and far between.

I have no idea mate, quoting statistics is meaningless as I have no idea how much actually gets sent here to compare that against the customs annual reported seizure rates.

All I know is most of my shit makes it ok along with many others I talk too, country of origin seems to factor quite strongly in the sucess rate as it goes, I've had a shocker of a run with ordering from the UK recently.

It has always been the case and yes given the recent worse than usual volatility of the btc price it is probably making it more apparent.

The SR wiki describes hedging in detail, I'm not sure what you are asking when you say "can you explain to me how how you guys are handling vendors that hedge"??

Neither scout nor I speak for DPR re SR policy, you would need to ask them if they were considering any changes.

When you finalize your coins leave escrow and are deposited in the vendors account and are irretrievable.

This is why SR cannot help you with your order after you finalize.

Nearly every post in customer support regarding buyers who have been scammed or are having issues have finalized their orders, you don't read too many people complaining about their orders when their coins are in escrow.
