Really? I thought the rules about that had changed recently, Libertas said that in a post like a week ago, that DPR had contacted him and told him that offering free samples on the forums should be allowed with a vendor's account since forbidding it would go against the ideals of a free market. He did say that it was pretty risky to give your address out like that though.

Free samples WITH a vendors account is totally fine mate, read the posts, this person doesn't have a vendor account.

Ok, message received. I was not trying to rip anyone off, and my site has no way for you to pay me anything, it just shows what I have to sell. I thought it would be easier that way, since it's already made. I will get a vendor account but wont have $500 for a while if thats what it takes to open a vendor account. I'm not sure how paying $500 means im not a scammer, I would think that my offer of samples would do way more for rep than a $500 donation fee.

Sorry for the intrusion, ill come back when i can afford to be among exalted ones.

If I have caused any problems I apologize, no money was taken from anyone, so I beg forgiveness of the mods to let my account linger here till i can get you your $500 entrance fee.

I hope you understand but it is for buyer safety, there are some less well intentioned people who will use the offer of free samples to harvest peoples details then use them for nefarious reasons.

I hope you can get the bond together for a buyer account soon.

I used the resolution center for the first time this week and have some questions about the impact it had on my Buyer Stats.

I have 30 transactions and over $2,700 spent.  I receiver a refund for $80 and my Refund % skyrocketed to more than 18%?  $80 IS NOT 18% of $2,700! 

What gives?  Why did the Refund % go up so much.  I'm pretty worried about vendors looking at my stats now.

The formula used to calculate refunds is quite complex and takes into many factors, if you need a more detailed explanation I suggest you contact customer support on the market site as they can review your individual circumstances for you.

Everyone is free to come here to these forums and speak their mind, it is an open forum where freedom of speech is paramount however if you read the first page of this thread GUS and I resurrected this one after the OP of the last two aussie threads basically had a gut full and deleted them for which I was sent a full page length PM going into detail about why they decided to take it down and I can tell you these last 5 pages or so are case in point.

This thread is a fucking embarrassment right now and I am so close to deleting it it's not funny, the only reason it has been left up is to try and prevent half a dozen new aussie specific ones springing up to replace it. If you want a local watering hole where us aussies can come to help each other out and even sledge each other a bit then stop acting liking fucking children hurling insults at each other and follow the rules as set out in the OP. Here is a radical suggestion, how about reviewing some vendors?

And yes I am feeling a bit grumpy this morning but if I like the author of the last thread has had enough so if f you don't like the rules of this thread go and create your own, I'm done with this shit.

Do you have a vendor account? you are not permitted to sell (even free samples) via the forums without one.

Also a word of caution to anyone thinking about jumping in for free samples, think very carefully who you hand your details over too, there have been some rather unpleasant situation recently where people identifiable information has been harvested through 'free sample' offers. I am not saying this is such a situation, I am making a general statement reminding people to exercise caution.
