1 Is a vendor allowed to link their Atlantis/Black Market Reloaded-accounts in their Silk Road Profiles?
2 Is a vendor allowed to link their Atlantis/Black Market Reloaded-accounts in their Silk Road Forum Profiles?
3 Is a vendor allowed to link their Atlantis/Black Market Reloaded-accounts in a Silk Road Forum Post?
4 Are other users in the Silk Road Forums allowed to link to vendors on Atlantis/Black Market Reloaded?
5 If a vendor is allowed to link their Atlantis/Black Market Reloaded-accounts at any place here on Silk Road, is the same true for a personal web site created by the vendor itself?
6 Is a vendor more likely to be allowed to link to a different e-commerce site if the products sold there are entirely different from Silk Road?
7 Is a vendor more likely to be allowed to link to a personal web site of any kind if the products there are legal (but still sold illegally) ?
8 Are there any Official Policies or Agreements in place with sites like Atlantis and Black Market Reloaded on this subject?

It would be nice if any additional information which I didn't cover in the questions could be included as well if it helps the understanding of this matter.  :)

I numbered your questions to make them easier to respond to:
1 No
2 No policy, so yes for now
3 No policy, so yes for now
4 Yes
5 the answers are the same for personal websites as they are for other markets
6 & 7 These don't affect the answers above
8 No

I'll add that instructing customers who contact you on SR to buy elsewhere is also prohibited.  The forums are about discussion and openness, so so far I've done everything I can to limit censorship here and honestly I don't want to bother policing it.

Silk Road hosts a vendor's storefront and for that service we take a small cut of each trade.  To use your storefront here to collect customers and take them elsewhere isn't just breaking your contract, it's shady and underhanded.  I do take offense when people use the infrastructure I've created and maintain and made open to just about everyone and use it to direct people elsewhere.  So, I'm not going to try to stop you from linking elsewhere on the forum, but it's not respectful in the least, and I think it should be frowned upon by others as well.
is buying and selling data?

Is it just me or are you the reincarnation of Joolz? I know you can't be Joolz though because they packed up their shills and left SR, I've seen them post several times stating they were leaving etc so it must be true.

Do me a favor and post your FUD somewhere else, people come to the customer support board for help not hindrance.

Customer support / Re: Roundtable / vendor group

You will need to contact vendor support mate, mods do not have the privileges to upgrade forum accounts, only admins can do that I'm afraid.

Silk Road discussion / Re: SR Vendor label
« on: July 02, 2013, 09:32 am »
As  a member of the forum and a committed vendor on SR, I would like to know why my request to be labeled a SR vendor on my forum profile has not been responded to. not mad just curious.

As Lorimer correctly asked you need to have met some criteria as set out in the SR wiki:

https://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion.to/wiki/index.php?title=Vendor_roundtable

It might take a few days to a week to get upgraded but if you haven't heard anything feel free to message vendor support again and give them a gentle poke in the ribs.

How was it posted samesame? I assume not via USPS First Class International.. if you have some sort of tracking? I'm waiting on something that is taking it's sweet ass time from same destination..

That was in fact the shipping option I asked for but it seems to have come with tracking. I have never ordered with tracking because I think it actually increases the chances of an intercept, not looking to restart that debate on that again but anyway it's late and I know of another person who ordered at the same time and received ages ago.

Recently had an EU order take 3+ weeks to land though so who knows, all I know is I have multiple orders from around the globe all going to different drops and nothing is arriving atm.

Can anyone with some knowledge on how tracking of international shipping works when they arrive in Australia. I have a late letter sent from the US, have checked the tracking and can see the date and hub it departed the US but then nothing. Have spoken to Australia post and they couldn't tell me anything either beyond the date it departed the country of origin.

So basically what I want to know is if it got held up in customs for some reason would there be an entry scan or something to indicate it actually arrived here?

Cheers.

I don't think there is any rhyme or reason in how letters or parcels clear customs and update tracking, it's like a black box. Some packages disappear, some chronically await clearance, some are confiscated, etc.

My advice is to sign up for email alerts so that you can see updates as they happen in case they are removed later.

I think this is a case of disappear/no show then  :-\

All of my international parcels and letters update to "Received and awaiting clearance for delivery" as the first update when they land to Aus.  If it got held up in customs its does indicate it arrived in Aus, but it won't go past the "Awaiting Clearance" update from my experience.

Hmmm yeah that's what I have seen before too, so to no update indicating it has arrived is quite unusual...

It would be helpful in situations like this if you were to name the vendor so others who may also be experiencing issues can join in the discussion. You cannot get direct assistance from here re your order though, you will need to request customer support via the market site if your order does not arrive etc, more information on how to do that can be found in the SR wiki for which here is the link:

https://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion.to/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

To link to contact SR support can also be found in the bottom right-hand corner of the homepage on the market site.

Technical support / Re: I cant log in ...please help me
« on: July 01, 2013, 09:06 pm »
Im back in, thank you SR Support for seeing that I am the rightful owner. All my btc are gone however.

I have no clue as to how this occured. Under account>account history I can see the withdrawl but no other information.

Where to go from here?  So pissed right now.

I'm sorry to hear that kingpin.

You will need to do a thorough scan of your computer for malware etc, you may need to consider the possibility that you have a keylogger too which will require a full HD format and reinstall of the operating system to get rid of.

I would also invite you to give a lot of thought to how this happened, ask yourself is there anyone else who may have accessed your account, could anyone have discovered your login and pin etc.

Customer support / Re: Finalize vs resolve question
« on: July 01, 2013, 09:00 pm »
The formula used to calculate the refund rate is quite complicated and factors in many variables. Personally there have been times when I have finalized and walked away to save my stats, others when I have taken the refund. Most people obviously want to keep their refund rate as low as possible so it really is entirely your call on such matters.
