Customer support / Re: Refund for bad product?
« on: July 19, 2013, 12:30 pm »
If you are unhappy with your order you can take it into the resolution center and propose the resolution you are seeking there, once in the RC your order will not auto finalize, if you are unable to come to an amicable agreement with the vendor and admin will adjudicate on the matter for the both.

A refund may affect your stats though so you would need to factor this into your considerations, more information on how resolutions are decided can be found in the SR wiki:

Hope that helps.

Am I being unreasonable here guys? I'm a bit high and I don't want that effecting my judgement.

MESSAGES NOTE QUOTED

Hey aussiepp, it's not really the done thing to just post your private messages exchanged with others, I know i would be pissed if someone posted my private messages to them here on the forums without their consent, just saying... no offense intended.

You might crunch up a ball of it in your pocket and visit the courthouse or other "free testing service" :-)  Be ready with a story about the computer hardware you just unpacked... Or... camping trip with Bears attacking your neighbors food...or...

You might want to take some metal that they will let you keep to make sure the scanner is plugged in and working.

You might try falling to the floor and shaking uncontrolably if they detect it to mess with their heads ;-) They might remember you in the future though :-(

Hhaaha, so the metal detector would pick it up?

I can access one of those wands, you know what I will find out for you! can only test an MBB though, I would think heat sealed foil would set them off though yes.

Hmm I could do with knowing early Saturday morning BST latest, would this be possible? If so, life saver!
If it does get set it around my pants though, what would their actions be at a festival? Could I just say it was the buttons on my shorts?

Won't be able to give the MBB a wand test until early next week I'm afraid mate anyway.

It's not necessarily a problem but its lazy vending. I am assuming you are referring to express tracked envelopes? in which case it probably won't cause an issue but why take the risk? it takes a few seconds to add a return address and it makes everything look all the more legitimate. I would ask the vendor again to please include a return address that checks out and if they refuse then i'd probably buy elsewhere as it says more about their attention to detail and willingness to meet the needs of their customers than anything else.

Customer support / Re: Lost Access to forum Account
« on: July 19, 2013, 03:21 am »
If you can prove you are the rightful owner then you 'may' be able to have the password reset but as a general rule given the problems with verification then you may have to abandon that account yes. Send Libertas and/or inigo a PM with some mean of verification that you are the rightful owner of the account and if they can help you then they will.

Good luck!

on hes page he said anyone under 55 buys has to fe.

55 transactions is quite a lot but if that is their T&C then you as the buyer have every right to decide whether or not to buy from them. As a new buyer it can be hard to find vendor who will offer escrow but it can be done and it is obviously always preferable to finalizing early and going it alone.

Customer support / Re: Possibly Ripped Off By a Vendor
« on: July 19, 2013, 01:38 am »
Aussie bob is correct, I would urge against sending the vendor too many messages unless a reasonable length of time has passed. Vendors just like everyone get busy, stuff IRL crops up etc so they may have just gotten a bit behind. Given that you have finalized the order though you will be unable to seek assistance from SR support if there is an issue, for now though I'd just sit tight for a little bit longer and see how things pan out. Obviously if you do not receive your order and/or the vendor continues to ignore you them please report back here with an update.
