Delete the TBB from your computer completely and download the latest version extracting it into a new folder. If that doesn't fix it you will have to create a new temp account and follow the instructions for a pass phrase reset, please refer to the sticky at the top of this board.

Haven't they anything better to do..honestly. Damn shame.

Fuck it, just as well I was in escrow though! ;)

Have you happened to have recently opened an account on Atlantis using the same credentials as your SR account by any chance?

All BTC wallet addresses used in conjunction with your account, both past and present are linked, your funds will find their way to your account and if they don't please contact SR support via the market site and have them go look for them.

Customer support / Re: Forgot Pin and only 2 attempts left, HELP!?
« on: August 22, 2013, 09:37 pm »
Shit!

I have totally forgotten my sr pin, I roughly know it but keep getting digits mixed up and now I only have 2 attempts left.

What do I do?

Please read the sticky thread the top of this board, there is a link to the SR wiki regarding PIN resets.

If you can't remember it though you will have to wait 72 hours for the reset, this is for security reasons and is non negotiable. In future secure your pin more safely and you will not have to go through this process.

Customer support / Re: Auto Finialize

Looking at the timeline you posted it would appear that you finalized the order yourself by clicking on 'finalize' soon after the order was shipped.

I did no such thing! Is this some kind of a bug in the system?

There are only two ways an order is finalized, it either auto finalizes after 17 days or the finalize button is clicked. If your order finalized before the auto finalize date then the finalize button was clicked, either by you or someone else.

If you have created a temp account and contacted support requesting a pass phrase reset you should get a response from support soon. As you now know you should never use the same credentials for any other account, you SR pass phrase and pin should be unique and complex enough to prevent others from gaining access to your account.

I hate to say it though but there is a strong possibility they did FE your order so that they could post the phishing link in your feedback.

I hope you get control of your account restored again soon.

Customer support / Re: Forgot Pin, said I must wait 72 hours?

PIN resets are automated and the 72 hour waiting period in non negotiable for security reasons I'm afraid, there is now way around it.

To bring this to the attention of the admins you will need to submit a customer support ticket via the market site detailing the nature of your complaint regarding the vendor in question. You are unable to get assistance for issues of this nature via the forums I'm afraid, moderators do not have any admin privileges on the market site, you have to raise it there.

If you need further assistance with regards to resolution matters please have a read of the SR wiki, there are links in the sticky thread at the top of this board to guide you.

Order auto finalize after 17 days at which time funds are released from escrow to the vendor. If you need to extend the finalize date you need to move the order into the resolution center before the 17 days has past and request and extension, just moving the order into the resolution center adds 5 days.

Looking at the timeline you posted it would appear that you finalized the order yourself by clicking on 'finalize' soon after the order was shipped.

Rumor mill / Re: Planetexpress - scammer
« on: August 21, 2013, 09:30 pm »
but they haven't broken any rules yet.

Haha...so is it now ok to sell stuff and not ship anything, then pocket the cash? The SR staff is banking commission on all this, if they weren't you can guarantee it would have been stopped by now....SR needs to stop making excuse, and stop this guy! Man up!

If you really don't think this guy is doing anything wrong, you need a better education...

I've said it before...it's starting to look like SR supports this guy, and his scams...At least you'll know why people start using different sites to make purchases

They look suss as hell hence my repeated reported of them.

Like I said take it up with the admins, they call the shots on demoting vendors.

Have reported them to the admins for an audit.

Why do people keep FE for these vendors when they look suss as hell, I just do not understand it.

You do realize there is a rule in place allowing this to happen... right? Shit I forgot you were getting paid off this planetexpress dude, why ban him right????

I just did the math and it would take 20minutes(american time) to stop all future FE scams.

5 minutes to change the rules on the wiki page
5 minutes to post it on the vendors table
5 minutes to post it on these forums
4 minutes to make a link to the changes on the silk road website
1 minute to give me credit for the ide ;)

Don't know, but I think serious ideas need to get tossed around by our admins to perhaps make some new rules regarding new vendors asking for FE.

We don't need new rules, we need SR to enforce the ones they have and stop sanctioning scamming. Read the sellers contract, NO VENDOR MAY ASK FOR FE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF VENDING OR THEY WILL BE BANNED! SR refuses to enforce this though. GoldMax had 10 pages of FE's from day one for 30 days and SR was completely aware of it and never did anything about it. SR sanctions scamming on this site. They make money off it. Consumers need to be cautious of both vendors and SR because SR is in cahoots with the scammers.

You are wrong. No vendors should ever be allowed to make FE only orders. Planetexpress has been a vendor for more than 30 days and most scammers are vendors for much longer than 30 days before they scam. Once again you are wrong and no one should take you seriously, because I've seen you making the pro-FE posts before and you're clearly a biased vendor worried about new buyers (or whatever it is you're worried about)

I do agree that the admins should have stepped on planetexpress a long time ago though.

I do not take too kindly to your assertion brodie, I get where you are coming from but I take exception to being accused of turning a blind eye. I report every single vendor I come across that needs a closer look and in the case of PlanetExpress I have now reported them twice to which I have been advised by the admins that they have been keeping their eyes on him for a while but they haven't broken any rules yet.

In case you didn't know the forums and market site are two entirely separate entities, moderators have no admin privileges on the market site so when we come across suspicious behavior by vendors we report it and let the admins do their jobs. If you have an issue regarding what you perceive as SR inaction in this matter I suggest you take it up with the admins and/or DPR as they run this show.

Also have you ever wondered why when the forums are lit up light like this re a vendor the FE's continue to flood in? that would be because the vast number of people who buy off SR never come to the forums so we can make all the noise you like here and most will never hear it.
