The only way that information could ever be considered incriminating would be if you handed over all your pass phrase and user name to LE and confessed to using SR to buy drugs.

I am assuming you always encrypt all your identifiable information when placing an order yes?

Customer support / Re: Bitcoin withdrawn from account while on SR
« on: August 27, 2013, 04:20 am »
Please refer to the sticky thread at the top of this board for links on how to contact SR support.

If you have had an unauthorized withdrawal on your account though then your pass phrase and PIN have been compromised which means someone else has obtained them, this usually happens via phishing.

Have you recently opened an account on Atlantis by any chance using the same credential as your SR account?

You may also need to check your computer for malware, rootkits, keyloggers etc.

Hey I sent this to SR support and they redirected me to the FAQ page, however it does not answer my question.  I recently obtained 2.07 BTC to send to my silk road account. When i copy and pasted my address i accidentally hit 'request new address'. However, this did not update my address immediately so I went ahead and sent the coins to my old address which was 1DXmfhn58vYGTPABSLAy2r6VTZaD3cQ3as. I dont know what to do if the coins somehow dont hit my account.  Is my old address 100% deleted and not given to another user?  If so, i believe the coins will be undeliverable, what do I do??  Please help!

The coins will arrive fine, all btc addresses both past and present are linked to your account.

It doesn't matter if I FE or not. I could have received LSD, finalised upon arrival and tested it couple of days later (happened lots of time) only to find out it was bunk (thankfully never happened). Now we know it's not possible to change the feedback but before the update it was normal in this kind of situations. People are getting screwed with this update, users and vendors. I also learned that SR support is not really a support and that they don't care about users. Even if I didn't FE I couldn't rely on them for any meaningful support.

You are just pissed off because you didn't get the outcome you wanted, SR support does care about buyers and the admins work hard to help resolve issues. When however someone chooses not to use the protection built into the system i.e. escrow then they can't help you.

Re the feedback issue I can see how retrospectively that is going to catch a few people out who FE'd before the change. However in future if you do decided to FE just bank the feedback, click out of the page without leaving any and it will stay sat in your order section ready for when you are ready to leave it, you do not have to leave feedback at the point of finalization if you choose not to.

I heard a rumor that TGOD was banned for trying to sell his listing through the postage options system in order to avoid paying commission. Is there any validity to this?

Can't speak to this, I don't know how the commission works with shopping options, but I'll say if this was the case they certainly wouldnt be the only vendor trying to do this.  I've ran across several listings for items that are priced for a few dollars and then the shipping is upwards of $50.

If that is true then they are just asking for the ban hammer, that would be one of the easiest things for the admins to spot should the vendor come under closer scrutiny.

SSBD could you please try to get official word on what happened to TGOD? I'm really curious. He was one of my favorite vendors :(

I'll see what I can find out HEATFan.

Update:

I can confirm that the vendor GreenOvenDoor was demoted for misusing the postage options.

You need to contact vendor support, here is the link:

I miss Skippy_Jiff he always fun to see him post he had the best cocaine on SR then all the people who said it was junkie junk.

Ahh yes old Skippy J, I miss his page long tirades too ;) I wouldn't say he had the best coke on SR though, he always seemed to have a small group of very disgruntled buyers chasing his ass down saying he sent them bunk, made for some interesting posts.

I am unsure what response you are seeking at this time, the resolution center is there for you when you are able to access it and you have correctly described its function and operation. There are also no other ways to circumnavigate the wait period of 9 days before you can take the transaction into the resolution center.

If you have concerns regarding the vendors behavior then you can contact SR support and advise them of the situation, they will however probably instruct you to take the matter into the resolution center when you are able as I have already done.

If that doesn't not answer your question can you please be more explicit in the advice you are seeking.

643
Glad you figured out, thread locked.

644
The resolution center becomes available after 9 days of the order being confirmed and marked in transit. If the vendor stuffed you around with shipping your order your issue is with the vendor not SR.

I can appreciate your frustration but 9 days seems quite a reasonable amount of time to have to wait before being able to resolve.

Customer support / Re: Seller aldog25 sold me useless information !
« on: August 26, 2013, 03:50 am »
Stay away from this seller !
He sold me useless information what I can get for free on internet, as I gave him a negative feedback he push me to change otherwise he will not help me, I changed it and no help from him and he knowed that I can not change the feedback again.
He wrote: aldog25 4.9    The feedback is not changed so i can not help you sorry. Please change feedback and them pm me any question you have and i will do my best to help you.
This seller is scam ! It seams he push all buyer to get positive feedback only !
I want my bitcoin back or a solution from this seller !

You can change your feedback as many times as you like unless that option has recently changed.

If you are seeking assistance with the transaction you would need to take it in the resolution center, if the order has already been finalized though SR support will be unable to help you I'm afraid.
