If you had read the buyers guide or SR wiki you would have known all orders auto-finalize after 17 days, I therefore strongly recommend you invest some time researching those resources.

So I used blockchain to send the btc to my sr account. Thats not a temp wallet.

Anyhow it took 1-2hrs for the deposit to make it to SR. Soooooo my question is, do I need to use the "Get a new address" link on my SR account page due to the archive message I received and the slow transfer delay?

It is fine to create a new address with btc in your account yes, just try not to create a new address when you already have coins on the way, a lot of people seem to do that for some reason.
