from what i gather...if you click on a vendors name...and it takes you to the msg box...then that vendor isn't a vendor anymore..

Correct, message SR support and ask them to cancel your order or cancel it yourself after 4 days.

Yeah, so my coins still aren't in there - frustrating stuff !!

I msg'd SR Admin, and they reverted back saying the BTC should be in my account - which it isn't so I sent them another message.

What are these 'confirmations' everyone is talking about ???

Also, my transaction doesn't appear in the Block Chain - which is worrying !

I'm tempted to create a new SR  Wallet Address - don't know if this will loose my coins though ?

ARGGGG

Thanks for your help guys

When I've made this post I'm moving this thread to customer support so it can make friends with the other half dozen or so on the same issue.

Firstly please do not create a new btc address when you have coins inbound to your account, why people feel the need to do this I will never know, all btc addresses used in conjunction with your account are linked but it can throw a spanner in the works.

Confirmations are shown against the btc address used for the transfer when you do a search on the blockchain, normally a transfer will need at least 6 confirmations before the coins reach their destination, when things get screwy with the SR coin tumbler or whatever has caused this recent issue you may see a very high number of confirmations but still no coins.

Your coins will show up, your just going to have to be patient for a bit whilst things get sorted out, frustrating I know but there is nothing more you can do apart from follow up with SR support if your coins are still delayed.

Customer support / Re: Has anyone received BTC into SR accounts today?

The OP got their coins, that's good enough for me.

Thread locked as resolved.

p.s. anyone still wanting to post updates can use one of the other half a dozen or so threads on the same issue.

Customer support / Re: CUSTOMER SUPPORT FAQ - PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

im just wondering if i get something sent will i have to sign for it ??

Depends on what shipping option you use, vendors should as a general rule waive the signature on delivery requirement for shipping that uses tracking etc. Basically if you don't ask for it then you shouldn't get it but it is always good to make that explicitly clear with the vendor when placing your order if you are concerned.

Silk Road discussion / Re: Difficulty accessing Tor hidden services
« on: September 12, 2013, 09:06 am »
I'm sorry but this doesn't make any sense to me.  If the issue is a bot attacking TOR why can i access pretty much any other hiddden service i want without any issue? I can connect and surf the forums with no trouble, I can visit various other tor services without any problems.   I hate to say it but it looks to me that silkroad is being personally targeted somehow.  Just my personal observation maybe someone can explain this to me.

Time to follow NW Nugz advice and break out the tin foil! wrap everything and I mean everything in foil including pets and you watch your SR connection fly at incredible speeds, try it mate you won't regret it.

Do some reading on the evolution of this botnet, it's been around for quite some time it seems and if everyone updates to the latest version of the TBB the issue will go away.

It's "shill" account, not "shell" account you newb!

Still haven't gotten any of my coins... that's 500$ worth I don't know what to do next

Best thing to do is start a new thread in every section of the forum asking for help, that way you will get to feel like you are doing something productive whilst the coin tumbler catches up and your coins magically appear in your account all without you having to do anything whatsoever.

A tad sarcastic I know, was just trying to lighten your mood and inject some much needed perspective into the situation, your coins will show up mate, I promise you. And if they don't SR admin support will find them for you assuming everything to do with the transfer was done correctly, any issues on the SR end of things can and will be resolved.

Customer support / Re: Seller aldog25 sold me useless information !

I bet you think the vendors forum is this Über cool hang out where everyone discusses really top secret and interesting stuff don't you?

If I told you the truth would it be like me telling you Santa Clause doesn't really exist all over again?

Moderating these forums has taught me many things, patience and understanding being two of the most essential and often tested virtues required for retaining ones sanity at times.

Customer support / Re: Over 500$ worth of coins still unconfirmed
« on: September 12, 2013, 08:33 am »
You know why they haven't responded to you yet? because every time there is a delay with deposits or withdrawals every man and his dog floods SR support with tickets in a panicked frenzy demanding to know where there BTC is. If everyone just chilled the fuck out and had some patience support wouldn't get bogged down and before you know it the issue would be resolved and everything would go back to normal.

Just look at how many threads there is in this board all saying the same thing, never mind you can't get any assistance via the forums for bitcoin issues, its the same drill every time, where are my coins!?! my coins have been stolen! DPR has done a runner with my coins, everyone panic now!!

I understand issues with your hard earned coins can be concerning but in all my time here having seen this issue happen many times I have yet to come across anyone who didn't get their coins eventually.

Free xanax for everyone! ;)
