The real answer is you DO NOT NEED TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY FAKE FEEDBACK... there is NO NEED. As if you deal with vendors  that have been here more then 4 months and have a 100 or 99 score..then the fact is they do not have fake feedback. It just is not need to be done and there is no upside to it. Also there is just no need..NONE. So you will not come across it. So don't waste your time on something that is of little significance anyways.. If you even think that you need to question a vendors feedback..then move on to another vendor! There are plenty of vendors here. And plenty of really good ones!

Newbie discussion / Re: Vendors storing buyers' data
« on: February 24, 2013, 05:49 am »
All of you are worrying about something that is a NON ISSUE...Vendors have no reason to keep your info. We do not need it..it does not help us in any way and yes as the Mod said it is against the rules. And yes we follow them The rules for vendors are to be taken VERY SERIOUSLY. We make 10's of thousands of dollars a month. And we can not do that without SR. We also work very hard on our feedback and  our reputation. You do not get them by breaking the rules. Also DPR is serious about them. If a vendor even mentions to you that he has your address and will do something with it they will lose their account. And he has done this to a top vendor..more then one..someone who was making over 50k a month.. So don't think that "yea its a rule but I bet vendors keep it" No we do not. What we do have is receipts with either Zip codes or with the complete address if it is a USPS Express label. And we even get rid of those and just keep the numbers. And for the most part every package should be there within 5 days..so after that vendors shred that stuff. There is just no reason to keep it.

I read the post and I saw how all of you felt the same as the OP..And you all being new I understand how you would think that. Once you are on here for a while you will soon see how we all work and how there is just no reason to have that info. Also it is IMPORTANT that you deal with established vendors with great feedback as then you will be dealing with pros who know that they are doing. And you will have nothing to worry about.

Good Luck!

Newbie discussion / Re: can drug dealers just take weekends off?
« on: February 24, 2013, 05:38 am »
Boy, Think.

We're Self-Employed Bosses!

We dont have to sell anybody anything. Ever.

We Choose To, IF We Choose To.

We take weeks/months/forever off if & when we choose.

Even if you have no pubes, You should not have all your eggs in one basket, go & ask grandma what she would do.

I guarantee she'd have/has a half dozen reliable, verified suppliers for whatever her needs be.

Come & Buy Some Weed & Have A Think About It.

Regards,

+1 gave it to you

REALY REALLY WELL SAID...

To the OP (opening poster aka the person who starts a thread)

I get this is is a section for newbies on the road..but that does not mean you are idiots..yet with your post you have proven that not only are you new....but you are dumb. And that is the worst combo for someone on SR as a buyer...you will be a vendors worst nightmare... How you don't understand it and had to make a post is unreal.

But another reason weekends are easy for us vendors to take off is that we 100% depend on the mail. And there is only mail on Saturday. It is an early cutoff and soon will be no more..so there really is not a need for weekends. Also not only do some vendors take weekends off...you ready for this....we take weeks off sometimes!! Yes you read that correct..weeks! Now it all depends on the vendor and what he is selling..but a lot of us at some point will either be reloading on the goods or just need to take a week off to get everything straight. Or something will come up IRL. Also being  a vendor takes a lot of time. As we are constantly answering questions from idiots like you. We have to answer all the messages from buyers that refuse to read the listings where their questions are already answered.. Or the questions where they ask about shipping and if you ship on Sundays, or they ask everything that is answered on your vendor page...again they don't like to read. Or they will reads where you say your cutoff time is 2pm PST...so they will then message you and say " it is 1:30pm pst...I know your cutoff says 2pm but I am just checking if I out an order in now,,,will it still get sent out?"  The, with them being new...you waste your time and say yes it will be...and they will come back with " Oh ok... I need to get coins then... I am not sure how long it will take to get them to my wallet...but I will probably just order tomorrow..thanks" And in between those we have the legit questions (very few) and we have to deal with customers, orders, packaging, shipping, account maintenance ect. So as not to get burned out...or just to in general take a week off because we can...then a lot of us do.

What is important for newbies to understand is that you need to read the vendors page. On it most vendors post daily updates and will give ALL the info you will need. I would say that 98% of ALL your questions are answered on the vendors page. So always go there. It is best that when you find a vendor you like that you "become a fan" why that is important is that it allows you to when you  log in..to be able to see all the vendors that are your favorites(you became a fan) and you can just click on there name and you will be taking to their vendor page. You can find that option on their vendor page where it will say "become a fan" You just click it and you are then able to also see them if they go into stealth mode. If you are not a fan....then you will not see them. I suggest you read the Wiki page to learn more about that.

Good luck!

First ...welcome to being a vendor.

Second...don't offer samples. It in no way helps you and will just be a headache for no reason.

Third  you need to link your forum account to your vendor page...you do that by going to your settings. Where it ask for your signature..put a link to your vendor profile. Otherwise your post will be deleted as no one will know you have a vendor account. This is yet another reason why there is a 50 post count min..even for vendors. As this forum has little to do with Silk Road.

Good Luck

Newbie discussion / Re: Question about Bitcoins and the SR
« on: February 23, 2013, 02:35 pm »
I try not to stay vested in bitcoins for very long because they do tend to fluctuate in value.  get them and spend them.  or if you like the thrill of gambling play them like the stock market (buying low, selling high).

For your "investment" in BitCoin to pay off, do you have to actually SELL them later on? For example, I know some people are pissing their pants in joy at the fact that their coins are now worth triple from four months ago. But for them to actually CASH OUT, do they have to actually sell the coins first? Cause if so, then I will never invest in BitCoin like that. Some Doomsdayers will tell you that they have BitCoin as a hedge against currency collapse. My question is, well if there is a major economic disaster, what exactly would you be "cashing out" to? Gold? let me know

Not exactly. Bitcoin is a currency. If you exchanged USD for Euros right now and then the dollar collapsed, you wouldn't have to "cash out" your Euros. Their values are independent. It's not like a stock where it is all paper profits until you "cash out". You can't go somewhere and buy something and pay with 2 shares of Amazon. There ARE places you can go to buy something with 2 Bitcoins ( like, well, here for example =] ). However, since Bitcoins are virtual and people have a hard time grasping that concept and because the number of places that accept payment in Bitcoins is limited, to many people it doesn't very much feel like a currency. The fluctuations in the currency can also be pretty volatile, which is not usually present in more traditional currencies. Can you imagine if that 10$ Pizza in December was now 30$ and in two months was 5$ and in six months 50$?

HOLY SHIT BATMAN!! Do you have ANY idea how much you just made my life SOOOO much easier? I have been racking my freaking brain over this whole stupid bitcoin thing-had no idea you could change the settings to USD-that's a HUGE help... and are you telling me you don't *HAVE* to use bitcoins to pay vendors? I can use an easier way???

I don't want to speak for him, but no, that is most definitely not what he's telling you. It's just there so it's easier for people to understand pricing. If I tell you a pizza is 10$, you'd be okay with that. If I told you it was 50$, you'd think it was insane. Now if I tell you a pizza is 1000 yen, is that a good deal? 5 yen? 25000 yen? 85 rubles? I have no idea and you probably don't either. Most are just as clueless with Bitcoin, so you can display prices in USD since most people have a more accurate basis of what the hell that actually means.

however I am told Mt. Gox is not the safest way to go and Princess tried to explain the steps- Bitinstant-blockchain wallet-blockchain mixer-silk road wallet.... God bless her but I am clueless as to what the block chain mixer is and I cannot for the life of me find where to get a SR wallet nor do I understand why I need one if I already have a block chain wallet AND a wallet thru bitcoin on my computer.... UGH see what I'm going thru here?

The only purpose (albeit an extremely important one) of the mixer is to 'mix' your money to sever any ties from the original wallet, which can usually be tied to a real-life identity (for beginners anyway). If you order a pizza and give the driver a $20, the driver definitively knows that YOU just paid $20 for a pizza. If you were to leave the $20 taped to the door instead, you could have paid for it, your dog could have paid for it, your neighbor, a ghost, etc etc. There's no way to tie that $20 to you(r identity). That's not exactly a 100% analogous situation, but it should illustrate the idea.

The reason that Mt. Gox is not safe is because it's REALLY safe. They keep very extensive records, have strong tracking like banks do, often have verified identification for most accounts, is difficult to use anonymously, etc. All WONDERFUL things if you're using Bitcoin to pay for services or investing in the currency or whatever else. Not so much if you're buying drugs illegally through the internet.

I cannot for the life of me find where to get a SR wallet nor do I understand why I need one if I already have a block chain wallet AND a wallet thru bitcoin on my computer....

Your SR 'wallet' is found on your Account page. It's not really a 'wallet' in the traditional sense but allows you to see your current balance.

You don't *have* to have a blockchain wallet and a wallet on your computer, but it's a best practice. Do you have 100% of your USD in the same place? No, you probably have a bank account with the majority of your funds, a billfold with some spending money, and maybe a safe in your bedroom. Having a wallet on your computer (encrypted, offline, etc) is the equivalent of the safe. The blockchain wallet is the equivalent of a billfold - don't keep more in there than you're willing to lose shouldblock chain get hacked or something. And there isn't really an equivalent for the bank since this is an entirely virtual decentralized currency.

I think you missed the point and gave bad information here------

I don't want to speak for him, but no, that is most definitely not what he's telling you. It's just there so it's easier for people to understand pricing. If I tell you a pizza is 10$, you'd be okay with that. If I told you it was 50$, you'd think it was insane. Now if I tell you a pizza is 1000 yen, is that a good deal? 5 yen? 25000 yen? 85 rubles? I have no idea and you probably don't either. Most are just as clueless with Bitcoin, so you can display prices in USD since most people have a more accurate basis of what the hell that actually means.

Vendors price there item in US DOLLARS so that it makes no difference what the btc it trading for. THATS IT. Other wise if I listed a pill for 1btc then depending on the day that pill could cost you $5 or $30. So instead EVERY vendor prices their products to the dollar. And in doing this you will always pay the same amount of cash for the item.  It is actually very simple. I am shocked(not really though as there is so much misinformation in these forums by people that think they know and they do not know shit) at how many people thing that that with the btc going UP in value that they are paying more for their drugs.... the price of the btc in no way affects the price you pay for your drugs. Since we all price them in dollars. So as long as you buy your drugs as soon as you buy your coins then you are fine..but in the last 30 days you could have waited and the more you waited the "less you pay" as the btc has doubled in that time.

Also there is absolutely NO REASON to "wash" your coins or any other thing at all. Just send the coins to your Sr account and use them!! There is NO risk WHAT SO EVER. Anyone that is doing anything other then sending their coins to SR is wasting time and money for no reason. You do not need to use a mixer or anything else.

I have read through this thread and I can't believe how much bad information there is in here about the bit coin and using it for buying on silk road. For 99% of you the only reason you are getting it is because that is all we vendors take. So all you need to know is that the prices for goods are set in dollar amounts. And you will ALWAYS pay the same price for goods no matter what the btc does. It makes no difference if a btc is worth $1 OR $100. All that matters is that you use your coins as soon as you get them so that in case from the time you purchase your coins to the time you purchase goods on Silk Road if the btc is going down then you will need MORE btc....if it is going up...you will need less. The good thing is SR uses a 24  hour average of MT.GOX so you can get the app that tells you the current price of the btc and you will then know what the SR price will be in the next 24hrs. There is a free app for this so that you can always see the current exchange rate for btc. And unless you are buying your coins from me...then you are paying some sort of premium for the btc usually less then 10%. And that is just the price of doing business. :) So sit back and relax and realize that 95% of the "information" on the forums is wrong. And that you do not need to know most of it anyways...as 99% of you are going to get btc in your account...then use them! So no need to worry about the btc going up and down.

Can we please not have the "crazies" start up all their bullshit? Just this one time.... :)

DPR is working on fixing the problem. He will get it fixed. No one is going to lose anything. This is not the DEA. Everything is going to be fine. So please people go get your dick sucked. Take a nap. Play a game. Get high. Just do anything BUT spread bullshit in the forums for no reason.

To all the non - crazies...

I think the site is fucked and DPR ran off with all the coin because of the recent hike in BTC rates.

Bottom line is prices are set here by demand and supply. NOTHING ELSE!

THAT IS IT!

Supply and demand. It makes no difference how the search works...as it really does not work anyways..and the issue with new vendors is trust. Nothing else. And even that is weird and with the escrow system buyers have NOTHING to worry about. But they just do not look at it right.

If a new vendor come on SR and you find him and you like what he has to offer....ORDER!!!!! There is NOTHING you have to worry about. Your money is in escrow, he can't ask you to finalize and if you do not get what you ordered you will win. It is that simple. These forums have so much misinformation.

Also people that are really buyers do not care about price. They care about service and speed of delivery(service). I know that is hard for people to understand but I can tell you with certainty that price is not an issue. They want consistent quality and speed of service. And at the the end of the day all the vendors price there items at about the same prices.( in drugs where you can compare the item such as pills). Yes you can find good deals(lower price) from a new vendor trying to get business...but eventually they too will have the same prices as the other vendors in there respective category's.

To the OP, I understand what you are saying..but it is just not true. That has nothing to do with prices of items. Certain buyers only care about prices and they will find the cheapest. But MOST care about service and service only. By most I mean 95%.

Silk Road discussion / Re: Package has vanished?! What to do?
« on: January 28, 2013, 03:57 pm »
Relax----

You do not need to call parcel force...lol

Go back to the post office that the DCN says it is at.  When you speak to the worker tell them the DCN shows it is there. They can use another tracking system to find it. Just  be patient. There is a chance the post man has it for a delivery attempt. Be patient..they will find it. Stop calling..not because it is a security risk..but because it is a waste of time as you want your package and so you must go there anyways. So go there and get it. They are not going to make you open it :)

Good luck. Let us know what happens.

Rumor mill / Re: Listings vanish when a vendor has not been online?
« on: January 28, 2013, 01:26 pm »
I was actually JUST thinking that, vacation-mode.

And lol Yes King, dont want to hurt any feelings by saying you're the best vendor I have worked with. But I mean, youre fast as hell, very polite/honest, and never had problems. =P  Oh, and hearing from you 15 minutes after I ordered was a bit of a shock lol. Not that I expect you to notify like that. But it was cool as hell.

:) That's how I roll my friend! For 10 months now.. All I do is TRY and treat every single customer as if it was me n their situation. But the most important thing is speed of delivery. The fact is that I  try  and contact you with a thank you message, that is not automated, within 30  min of you ordering to let you know I got the order and I will be filling it as soon as I can, in this case on Monday. I then message you when I actually ship it and give you the date you should receive it and to let you know, even though you can see "in transit", that it has been shipped. Because a lot of buyers are not on all the time so them logging in  and seeing that it is marked in transit and trying to figure out when it was actually put in transit is almost impossible to determine! I don't know a single person that knows SR time vs there local time. So me sending them a message at least tells them (in the message) how long ago it was mailed. And I give them the date to expect it if it is priority. I think that is important as the greatest thing in the world is going to your mailbox and having a package from your vendor there. It is better then any Christmas day I ever had and I had some great ones. Packages from SR are better :)

Also it fucking sucks when vendors mark in transit but they have not actually shipped it. I do not know why this ever happens. And I only mark in transit when the Post office has it..not on the way...not it is about to go...not it is in the car. I mark when they ave it and you are 100% going to get it.
I have ordered from vendors and they do not send anything. But of course they took the time to send "Make sure you finalize as soon as you get your package" Like NO SHIT?? How about you get off your ass and give me a heads up on when to look for it? Lazy fucks. Or they say it was sent today..then you get it and you see it was post marked 5 days after they said that? Fuck you... I cant believe how many vendors suck at shipping and have"problems" every couple weeks. The UK  vendors are the worst. They will mark in transit and  not even think of shipping it for  5 says, lie about it, make up a lame excuse, lie some more, say they had some sort of supply issue that was not their fault and then bitch they got a 4/5. In my spear time when I have to be online and I have finished everything is reading feedback. Since the forums suck. It is my way of staying on top of shit from actual buyers and hearing what they say. And some guys are fucking creative as shit.

Also so many buyers complain that vendors get lazy and bad after a few months on here and after they have order 3-4 times.. And I want to be like McDonalds and the Big Mac. No matter where you get it, it taste the same. Every day, every month, every year. So I want your buying experience to be the same. Perfect. And if you do not want to communicate, great! If you do Great! All that I care about it you get exactly what you ordered as fast as I can get it to you. I don't want you to wait an extra hour. And I do not want you to get your order and it not be what you expected. Pills are never broken. And packages are never lost.

I also want you to know I appreciate your order. I want you to know I am thankful you put your trust and your money in my hands. Ordering drugs online is a nerve racking experience for a lot of people and it causes anxiety. I have pills for that but you have to get your order first :) So it is also my job to make you feel comfortable that you will get it safe and stealthy. I also deal with people that need my medication. And time is an issue. So for those people hours matter. I respect that everyone has their own agenda and all my job is to get them their orders. And to make sure that the experience was as  easy as possible. This is a sweet gig. And it can be gone anytime so while it is here...I am thankful and I am happy I can do it and I enjoy it. So thanks for the order...also on a side note all the USA Rx vendors know I am King, so you wont hurt their feelings ;D

As you know..that is the cool thing about are little pills..ALL then vendors are fucking great. All will get you your  pills fast. Great group of vendors top to bottom. And all of them are better guys then they are vendors. As good as you can know someone considering we are all busy and can't communicate that much..Every one of them I can send a message to and vice versa and I will get a response within 15 min..and it is always yes how can I help. Pretty cool when a customer says " hey thanks for sending me to Modziw, he was great..then  3 weeks later another guy say's "Modziw is out..and said you  could help me"

Silk Road discussion / Re: Why Is Morphine So Cheap?
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:17 am »
Wow that is a HELL of an answer MM. But there is a far easier explanation.....

First the most common Morphine available is time released such as MS CONTIN. (morphine Sulfate) and it is SHIT. The high sucks. And FEW like it..though some do. I would love if a buyer would come in here and explain why? For certain pain it can be effective. It is Long lasting..18+ hours for 1 pill.

And the other reason...and I believe the most important one...the same thing that makes other drugs such as Roxicodone $1+ per mg...Supply and demand!..There is plenty of supply...and little demand. Also on the retail level it is cheap. Less then $1 for 100mg.

So the reason it is less money on here is demand is small.

Rumor mill / Re: Listings vanish when a vendor has not been online?
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:11 am »
What happens is that if a vendor does not log in for 3 days their account automatically go's into vacation mode. It is that simple.

Btw...glad EP that I am (one of) your preferred vendor..but I was actually just responding to your OP. So though you do not name the vendor..the situation is one that is consistent with this happening..and it does this for the buyer protection.

Wadzozo is 100% correct is his explanation of what would happen if they were sent to happen if a vendor was banned from SR and how you could tell. In this case since he has not logged in he has been sent..On Vacation :)

Rumor mill / Re: What are/Who has the best 2mg Xanax Bars on The Road
« on: January 27, 2013, 02:43 pm »
depends what you like....

a lot of folks enjoy the quicker acting bars such as the activas purpac (yellow)

if you want as close to the name brand as you can get (same manufacturer) then white greenstone's are the best bet.

sandoz makes a great one but they are often counterfeited so be careful. i also try to stay away from mylan and dava as they are pretty much almost usless. mylan a4's (not bars, but 2mg) provide me no relief at all.

now best of the best imho (and many others) is gador alplax. some folks sell them on here... they are the bee's knees!

edit: also, stay far the fuck away from onax. half the time they work half the time... there is also one seller here (can't remember) who sells a pressed round xanax bar that's made by a popular online pharmacy. they are actually quite decent but it's like swallowing a damn horse pill.

As you said....it is your opinion...but please do not recommend the Argentinian Gador alpax...and say a lot of people prefer them..  ;)

As you also said (and you are correct)  Greenstones are the best.... With out a doubt...no questions.

And if people were being very honest...the true Xanax lovers do not buy the best bars. Because the best bars are the 2 USA made brands that I mention above. . So none of them buy USA bars because their habit can simply not afford them to do so.They can buy powder and other brands for a lot  cheaper.... I mean a lot less money.....so they do not buy the best.  Though there are a lot that do...this I KNOW..they just do not post in the forums.

Also to all of you "hero members" that are true Xanax lovers...can we agree that Onax is not Xanax??? That is the shittiest, worst brand of pill you can get! There used to be a couple USA vendors that sold that shit on here. They bought it from India then passed it on to you guys as legit good Xanax. In fact he would say great Xanax. And it is complete junk....and that is me being nice about it.

Now I think I am qualified to answer this as I amongst other USA only vendors..sell the most USA made bars on here. And USA made Xanax is the best. not the lowest price..but the OP did not ask for the cheapest, shittiest brand. Though I have seen a post where someone points out just that! The complete opposite of what the OP asked for.

Rumor mill / Re: Good Feedback Sometimes = Losing Your Vendor
« on: January 27, 2013, 10:58 am »
For one thing, vendors should never have listings for items they don't actually have in stock, on hand, at that very moment.  For another, there's nothing wrong with building up a good base of customers and then switching to private or stealth listings once a vendor is getting enough orders to consistently sell through his or her inventory.  I've sold online in the past(not on SR)and much as we have favorite vendors, I am sure the vendors have favorite customers.

Your first sentence is so right on. I am shocked how many vendors do not have supply or ways to get product IRL and actually make purchases off SR and then resell. Nothing wrong with that in theory..but there is a lot wring with not having what you have listed.

I think the problem with going in stealth ..like full stealth .... is the exact problem you are talking about with vendors.. Let me explain.

So you start off and you get going and you build up your favorite buyers and enough buyers for your monthly supply...so you go stealth. Well by doing that you no longer get "new" customers. And what happens is that the customers you do have fall of. They just do not all stick around. Of course some will but the % is small...I would say 20% at best. And when you go off stealth and go public you are essentially a new vendor as the vendors that came out after you get the business. And the people that are around are new and do not know who you are and they have their trusted vendors.

Now of course their are exceptions and some vendors have pulled it off. But very few.

And your original post is not taking into the account of what we do. We sell drugs. And it is hard to stay consistent and sell drugs. It is just something that has a high turn around. I think that is the main problem. People start out and stay around for 3-4 months and in Silk Road time...that is a long time. For those who know USA football (NFL) we are like running backs. And the simple fact is it is rare for drug dealers to last a long time. And on Silk road what has happened in the past is vendors get going and in truth they are not really drug dealers. For those that sell pills...they get their own scripts and sell their own supply. And after a couple months they fizzle out. It is not easy to be a vendor on SR. it takes a lot of work. And doing it at a high level takes a lot of work. And most people can not handle it. Also they run into supply and demand. And they try to sell what they do not have.

And on other fields what they have done (coke, heroin, weed,E, ect) is they have a certain supply, they sell it.. They then re up and they sell again..though this time not as good as the first batch...and they get worse and worse in vending and they end up pulling a scam or selective scam before quitting SR all together. When last year the vendor form Canada(I hate Canada) Tony76 pulled his big scam..everyone talked about at the time what a trusted vendor he was...he was here 3 months!!!! And he used the timing of SR's 1 year anniversary sale to make everyone FE and he took off with a 6 figure score. And after that (and before) vendors went out that way...they figured why not?

So in general it is just hard for a vendor to keep supply and stay on top of their game for more then a few months. When they started they knew they were not going to last. They start making a good score(if smart) and they realize it is a lot of work being a vendor when you have to ship more then 10 packages a day.

So I totally agree with your observations I just think the reasoning is wrong. It is just what happens and it was going to happen no matter what. And with a lot of vendors they do not have the supply chain or in fact their supply chain is flaky too. I in fact think the buyers have it good on SR as it is like being on a street corner with 100's of vendors and you can not get that IRL. If any of you have been to a major league game in any of the big 3 sports you have seen the scalper area of a venue.  And the beauty of it is in a 30x30 foot area there is 20+ guys all competing with each other..yet all get along for the most part and it is great as a buyer  because all their scalpers are in one area. And although it is illegal it is basically not targeted by the local police. And that is how SR is.

As a buyer you will have your favorite vendor...but you should always have a few. As you never know when that vendor is going to go out of business. Because there are a lot of factors that come into play. And some drugs the vendors stick around...example Rx...and others (coke) they barely last a month. In fact that is the one drug where no vendor has quality shit and is around for a while. I know this from what I read and I am always asked if I know a good coke guy on SR. And it is the only  drug( other then Opium) that after being here 10 months I can not recommend a vendor.

And the same is to be said for the buyers. They cycle through....Some have been around for a long time..but very few last 6+months. Not to many people can handle buying the same amount of drugs over a long period of time. Others are great at it.
