If you order late on a Friday which might be even later for them considering their time zone relative to yours, they don't ship weekends, and a vendor normally takes 48 hours to ship, come Monday, they already lost 2 days.

First I never ever ever listed samples. I have never giving a sample in my life. And going back to that time, 11 months ago, I gave away the King Koin and I gave people free shit that were dirtbags with no money or that would do shit for me in the forums, I did then give them free Xanax or free Norco's but that was people that messaged me and I agreed to give them something for the King Koin...and I always shipped to someone that I did that for. So don't say you ordered a sample from me because that NEVER DID HAPPEN. And I have never once said I would do something and not done it. NEVER. It is not how I roll. Hence me being here 1 year with perfect feedback.

So come on back and respond as soon as you are done making a post in a thread just repeating the exact same thing that was said the 8 post before you...as it is very important to be reassured by you

Also there is no mention of this exact thing in the Wiki. Also as I said I am basing my message on what I know to be 100% true based on what was said about this very thing in the vendor forum. The reason this was brought up is a vendor went to mark the item in transit as he had his order page opened for a few days and the order was there. When he went to mark it in transit obviously it refreshes and it did so and the order ...in the vendors words...vanished. Where as usually it go's below with your other orders in transit.

So what had happened is it was past the 4 days, and the buyer did cancel it. This post had more then 15 responses before the answer of what happened to the order came about. As the vendor didn't at first realize the order was over the 4 day limit where a buyer can then cancel and didn't realize he was on his order page that had been left up in a tab for a few days with out being refreshed.

So this is how I know the answer to your question.

Also it has been brought up many of a time in the vendor forum about what happens to the buyer stats after 4 days and the buyer cancels vs the vendor cancelling. And the only difference is feedback can be left if the vendor cancels after 4 days where as if the vendor cancels before the 4 days, the buyer can not leave feedback. And there is nothing on the buyer stats that will be affected.

Did you try messaging the vendor and tell them about the ludicrous price for their shipping?  I believe 99.8% of vendors list there prices in dollars....he must be the .02 that has them in btc...as that shipping price is ridiculous..



On a side note...the question you asked originally ...would make zero difference.

The hedge option is just for the vendor and has NOTHING to do with the buyer. When you are a vendor, and you hedge an item, you are paying SR 6% to guarantee that whenever the buyer finalizes...the price you get for the coins..is the exact same as when the item was bought. That means up or down you get the price the btc was valued at in SR at the time the buyer paid for the item.  This is something that could be useful if you are a vendor that has items that could take more then 5 days for the buyer to finalize...or in some  weeks. And they don't want to gamble/take the risk of coins going way down in that time. Also you can't choose to hedge single items. Either all your items are hedged or none.

The problem is that over the past 13 months...the btc has only gone up... And when you hedge you don't get the upside. So if your item sells for $50 then you get $50 whenever the buyer finalizes. Now lets say at the time you sold the item the btc was valued at $50 per coin. So the buyer paid 1 coin. Well in your account you only see $50. Not the 1 btc. So if the btc is valued at $100 at the time the buyer finalizes in 2 weeks...well you will get in your account the amount of btc that equals $50....in this case you would get .5 btc......Minus of course the 6% juice you paid.

I think there are a lot of vendors that don't understand this..but there seems to be a even more buyers that do not understand. So even if the buyer had the item hedged it would not change what YOU paid as you know exactly what you are going to pay before you put in your pin # to buy the item. And of course the shipping is included in that final price. It is not separate.

So if I am selling a pill for $30.00 each and the btc is worth $30 at the time of the sale and it is hedged, I of course will get $30 for that pill when the buyer finalizes. In fact in our accounts there is a tab for BTC and for dollars when our items are in escrow...if you are a vendor that does not use the hedge system, like myself, then that is always $0. So what I see is the number of btc I have in escrow, the number of btc i have in my account that are mine, and then I see the value of the coins I have in my account  minus what is still in escrow.  I would have to take a calculator out to figure what the escrow account is valued at.

If I was to use the hedge system,  I would not see the btc in escrow as that would be zero. And in the hedge box I would see a US dollar value. And that dollar value stays the exact same regardless of what the btc is doing...so the amount in my account of the btc's I have is always going up and down...but if  I were to use the hedge system, the value of my escrow account waiting for the items to be finalized would never be changing.

So either way it does not affect the buyer what so ever.

Now there is a way the hedge option could affect you....if you were to put an order in with an un-hedged order..and that vendor refunded you..he would be refunding you the actual amount of btc you paid. Not the dollar amount you paid. If it is a hedged item, you will get a refund the dollar amount you paid....not the btc amount. I think that is what confuses people.

I have had people place an order on Saturday at 5pm my time..so there is no way for me to ship it until Monday. So when they bought the item btc was worth $50 each. Now on Monday it is 10am and I still have not shipped it...but now btc has gone up to $60 a coin, so they have messaged me to please cancel the order so they can re order at the new price of the btc. It is bullshit but I understand so I will cancel the order...but I will not let them reorder. Because if it go's the other way, I would never cancel the order.

The real truth is that every single buyer on here only gets btc because they have to use it to make a purchase. So they should get the btc, make the purchase and care less what the btc value is. But of course greed is natural and if people can make a few bucks they will. And that is what it usually means..... few bucks.

So I will have been here 1 year in about 20 days as a vendor. So you could say I have seen it all!

I do not think any of you.....that are not vendors ....can imagine the total morons and bullshit we have to deal with.  I deal with "buyers" like Ilovedeath aka PERKY who are constantly on the scam and are always trying to pull bullshit. And since we really can not ban anyone.... as it takes 1 min to create a new account ...and on this site the only communication is by messaging, I am almost forced to at least read every message. On a bad day I get 100 messages. And all of them I actually answer and do so in a timely manner. So as I am answering messages, I have messages I am actually sending out, conversations that I am having in messages that are sometimes 6+ months old, I am also packaging up shipments, always refreshing the page, dealing with IRL situations and other things. I am also on SR from 12pm to 8pm m-f  without fail. I tell you this just to try and paint a picture for you to get the context of what I am about to tell you.

I was not going to even comment on this thread as I actually found it amusing and enjoyed that this guy was this annoyed that he made a post in the forums. Also the truth is no one gives a fuck what he has to say!! I know he thought when writing this that everyone would jump on his bandwagon(like he did the Heat) and agree that I am an asshole or dick or whatever...but the truth is I might be all of those! But as a vendor to my customers I am KING. I have the best feedback on Silk Road. I am not saying I am the best vendor as I can actually name other vendors that are awesome also and have great feedback. Even vendors that do not have 100 are great and might have done nothing wrong, yet someone left them a less then 5/5.Also when dealing with so many orders  it is possible to be great and sometimes not get a 5/5. That just go's to show you how impressive it is that in almost being here 1 year and having done over 1000 orders (way over LEO;) ) that not to have anything but 5/5 is impressive.


If this had been 10 months ago I would have posted on every comment he made and defended myself. As a vendor you MUST defend yourself if someone is going after you. Well I should say as a "new vendor". And 10 months ago I would have been a new vendor. But in this case...this idiot is not even a buyer! He has not dealt with me at all...he is in fact mad because of what I said to him in messages...LOL. So in truth I would not have cared even 10 months ago. As I only care about my customers. I sell 2mg Xanax bars, 30mg Roxicodone, 40mg Opana, 100mg MS Contin, 15mg roxicodone, and the drug that starts all of this codeine syrup. I sell these items for 2 weeks max as I sell out every month. I have sold out every month from the very start. I basically have the same customers every month and most have been with me for 6+ months. I have perfect feedback and have never had less then 5/5. I get along and actually consider most of what you would call my competition "friends". I love Silk Road . I am lucky that what I sell is popular and that all the other vendors in my category are cool as shit. You can read my vendor profile and learn right away I take NO SHIT. I make it crystal clear how I do business. Someone said in a response on this thread that I over reacted in the second message..LOL...I didn't over react.I knew how I was reacting..and I was letting him have it on purpose. I made it clear to him that I hate him. That I do not need him. That I do not want him. And that the bottles I have are already spoken for and that I have a waiting list that is 20 people long. And if for some odd reason one of the 5 bottles I have is not purchased by one of the guys that has been buying them since day 1, I then send a message to 1 at most 2 guys and it is sold. Again this is rare. The simple truth is if I could get 50 bottles it would be sold. He even responded like I should be impressed that he has been here a month and spent 4k. I was not.... and I could care less. In fact just the fact he mentioned it was yet another reason to hate this guy! I have customers that have been purchasing Xanax from me for over 6 months and I have a 20 pill minimum and I put that in place about 4 months ago, before that it was a 5 pill minimum. It was meant just to stop the people who want 1 pill...and they will pay express for $20 to try and buy 1 pill.. and I do not want those people as customers... so when I put up that I only sell orders over 20 and all orders under will be cancelled they have contacted me to say they only have enough to buy 8 pills and would I still let them purchase.....and of course I say yes. My point is though I say his 4k is not shit( it is not) I have guys that have been with me forever that only spend 60+ bucks on an order and they might only order 1 time a month. I would choose those guys over this loser every single time. I don't give a fuck how much you have spent on SR. Good for you. Yes if you order was cancelled or refunded then you would get the hedged value if the item was hedged.. but that should not happen very often if at all(cancelled and/or refunded)
And you saying that by rule you use the coins right away...it PERFECT and exactly what you should always do!!
I was just trying to tell people that today when SR was out...the coin was actually going up so no one had to worry about losing value.. Hope you got in and have your good on the way..

Yeah but I get my btc through virtex and today paid 5 dollars more per coin than the mtgox usd price because from the time I deposited cash to the time I was credited with that cash it spiked, and honestly I'm worried it will go down again overnight because there seem to be more sell orders then buy order listed now. Anyhow I honestly don't know what affects the price. I just don't want to be 0.01 short on my dope. I want to order it now while it is what it is and hedge that shit so I don't have worry about it ever again and I can just wait for the mailman. That's why I'm grumpy.

Well you shouldn't be grumpy! When Sr comes back up you will have more money then you had when it was down...that is a fact! So it willbe Impossible for you to be .01 short...as SR uses a 24 hour weighted system to mt.gox..so even if right now the btc went down(it didnt.. in fact it went to $60+) it would take 6+ hours for it to be seen on SR... so you are all good.

When Sr went down, btc was valued at $52 on SR and it was obv going up...so again..you are all good..so don't be grumpy and answer my question! (in fact you should be really happy as you can get even more dope! then if SR was up...because if it was up...you would have already bought your drugs:) )
