Sorry to EVERYONE that I just sent that! I realized after I hit sent that I should have sent that in a PM..not in this thread as I totally know not to junk this thread up with stuff that has nothing to do with loaning someone coin.  Sorry!!

I agree!! There was someone that I have dealt with for over 1 year...but it has probably been that long since I have dealt with him...and I do not keep up with everything that go's on in all the forums and I was not aware about this person asking multiple people for a lot of coin...And he was asking is multiple forums...of course I knew non of this! And he was asking for an amount that this thread is not set up for. he was asking for .6 coins..

I told him that this thread is not for that..but I would lend him that amount if he needs it(as I had past relationship with him)

Well thanks to the GREAT PEOPLE of this thread...I got to long messages explaining that they did not want to get in my business and that they did not "know" me but they felt I should know what this guy has been doing before I lent him money..they were both very sweet and nice and were just looking out for me! And they both happen to be people I have never spoke to in here!!! So because of them and their kindness and them keeping up in people...they saved me from getting scammed FOR SURE!! The guy went away and actually never asked me for the coin...so it was a win win. Neither of them knew each other and also they both said how they didn't want to bug me..WEll of course they didn't and it just shows you how great the members are in here!!!!! JUST AWESOME they reached out and offered there help to me for no selfish reason. I have said many times this thread is the best. I have also said that in this thread....the BEST of SR are represented...and once again this is proof.

So a BIG THANK YOU TO ----- ODD and DANTHEICECREAMMAN---- for the heads up and for just being great friends to the thread and me.

What they did is a great example of what this thread is all about.....helping other members any way you can. Just awesome!

So if anyone see's them...please give them + karma...they deserve it from all of us...As does amonst everyone in here. SO i just did it for all of you

 

I dont understand how anyone can ship bud overseas at large quantities, isn't it too obvious  to send by mail.

This is why YOU should not become a vendor. And NO we do not make any profits...just break even.

It's funny because looking from the outside in one might think LE is taking on SR in a big way..... but from the inside out those clowns are wasting so much tax payer money going on wild goose chases through the darknet. Sigh.

I can do it no problem, Without going into my IRL qualifications, I design much more  complicated layouts from scratch but you have to give me a basic "design brief" of what you would want or just link to examples of vendor pages that you like and feel convey the image you want to represent. /pompous WebDev speak

ok.... you sound like you will be perfect! I actually do not even have an idea what I want nor do I know another page to go off of. I should have put more thought into this and actually looked around to find something I wanted BEFORE I put this post up. I just know I have had mine for a year and half and it sucks. I just realized it tonight... I actually thought about it before but I am way to lazy to change it and I do not really care that much...but for some reason tonight I noticed it really sucks.

I just want something that makes the information I wrote to be easier or the easiest it can be...to read.

And there was someone in this forum that offered this service in the last 3 months...So I just figured I would make a post and the first web design guy I would use.

So the most important thing is readability/ease of seeing everything...then since I am paying 100 bucks...I want it to be something that I could not do...I know that all the code that you can use on other web pages is not available on SR....but I want the best it can be with what is available.

If you can do that...your hired!! Give me your SR name and I will send you a message there....

There has been NO BUST because of SR...NONE.

In fact, the last one reported in here yesterday is great advertisement for Silk Road. And if that pot dealer would have used Silk Road they would still be in business. There was actually two Tv stations from Sacramento(could be more, I only saw two) that did an online report. The reporter for one of them does a really shitty job of reporting about the case from the unsealed court order. The other stations reporter does a better job of telling the story but still does a shitty job of reporting the facts.

The truth, as it is written in the court document that was unsealed yesterday, is that they caught the pot dealers because they were receiving large amounts of cash to a post office in Rocklin Ca and fictitious businesses in two other small towns within Sacramento California. That is how and why they got caught.

Over 400 packages of money being sent to them in this small post office and to the phoney businesses.

They did not get busted from sending the drugs, or dogs smelling the money or from them using btc or from them not using pgp or from the dogs smelling the weed or from them going into the post office or from them using anything that has to do with Silk Road. In fact all the things that the crazies in here love to talk about as high risk and very dangerous had nothing to do with why these people got busted.

THEY GOT BUSTED BECAUSE THEY DID NOT USE SILK ROAD. PERIOD!! Even Astor would have to agree that this bust had NOTHING to do with a vendor on Silk road not using pgp or with Silk Road at all.

The real problem is that people like you report in these forums about a bust and they put a title on their thread that makes it look like a SR vendor got busted yet again. When in fact it is simply not true. And NO vendor got busted. But a lot of forum members will not read the article or try and read the whole document. They will instantly just start typing a post about security on Silk Road and they will start speculating on the what if's and they will all talk as if it was a vendor that got busted. This used to happen all the time in the forums. So in fact OP there is a lot less of these reports then before ...so it is just you! I really believe that there are some members that want a vendor to get busted so they can say " See we told you".

One day it could happen. But it will not be because of silk road. It will be because someone will be lazy or plain stupid and get caught. Or some girlfriend or wife will RAT them out. In fact this bust had a lot to do with a RAT. There is actually a lot of good info in the court document that was unsealed and would be a great read for any vendor or anyone that wants to know the truth about things and way's that LE catch drug dealers. This totally sucks as no matter what, I hate when someone gets busted for selling drugs. But the good news, if you want to call it that, is that when s document like this get's unsealed it is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to learn more about LE and their practices. It is really priceless information and it is a lot better then the info some of the computer nerds talk about as facts when in fact the truth is they know nothing and are just speculating and hiding behind the ole " better safe then sorry" theory.

The great news is the more times the media reports about Silk Road the more members we get! More people come here that want and need drugs that would have never found this place unless there was a news story. I know there will be some people that say "that is bad" it brings more attention from LE. That is simply not true. They already know about us and have for 2 years. So who cares about them. Getting new buyers and more GOOD vendors is a great thing for everyone. It brings in more options and that lowers prices and that makes it more competitive that in turns makes vendors work harder at being great! it is a win win.

No press is bad press  ... of course the crazies will disagree. But they also have 20 gallons of water and five 10oz bars of silver so that when a solar flair comes they can survive. We need more great vendors and buyers. And for stupid people, hopefully that article will scare them away. As they will misread it like most people and think that the pot dealers got busted  because of Silk Road and they will believe this is a bad place to sell drugs. The one thing we do not need is bad vendors.
