I just re read your message again.... LOL..man you are stupid.  Also a heads up..it is possible to buy btc..with no fee at all and in fact..you pay dollar for dollar so if you spend 1000 you get 1000 on SR in btc.

They failed because they talked to much shit and could not back it up. They tried to run before they could walk. They were SHIT from the get go. As your only as good as your leader. They ultimately were just a skin...and they tried to pry all the "top" vendors from here to go there. And there big selling point was lower fees. They forgot to mention...lower class and no buyers except when some from SR trickled over there when SR would go down for 15 min and they would start panicking and saying "SR is in control of the FBI". I wonder who started those rumors???

Competition is good....but they were the WNBA to our NBA. The  Arena Football league to our NFL. They were not competition. They were a back up if you had a heart attack and Libby took over SR.

You took the high road in what you said. But the facts are they were no good. PERIOD. They brought nothing to the table. The reason why the site was so called "really  fast" is no one was on there. They had a chance to get market share when SR was down for a week or longer a few months ago. By an amazing coincidence...they just happen to open up that week. And yes some of the crazies went over there to set up shop but in reality there were more sales done in the forums here...then over there.

The only good thing that came out of them opening was it lit a fire on your ass.(your ass being Silk Road) Kind of like when the bulls were up 35 in the 3rd quarter...and the Knicks cut it to 25 going into the 4th. So Jordan and Pippen came back in to start the fourth and in the first 3 minutes..they got the lead back to 35. They were never in danger of losing. And they were way ahead...but just in case... they brought the starters back and ran the lead right back up and ended up winning by 41 and swept them in 4 games. We are the Bulls and you are Jordan.

Of course you were humble in what you said. But the fact is we as a community are great.... No.... fantastic. And with you as the captain the sky is the limit. So thank you to your crew and you. As it is, I understand that the commission SR charges vendors scales from a bit over 10% to 4% depending on the bitcoin value of the transaction.

You understand correct...BUT what does this have to do with what we are talking about???

10 percent is a lot of money. we all appreciate the site and we all pay the fees.
But without the buyer where would this site be? I feel SR should reward buyers that been here a certain amout of time and spent a certain amount of money with lower fees.
E.G. If a buyer is here for over 10 months and spent over 10 grand then they should automatically go from paying 10 percent to 5 percent.
Isnt that fair?

Modziw gave the best advice.... And that is exactly what you should do...ask your favorite vendor for a deal for being a frequent buyer.

I know you were just throwing out numbers...BUT 10 months and 10 grand would qualify 95% of my buyers...

Going from 10% to  5% is nuts...and SR should never do that. As if you owned the site you would not want to do that either...Again I know you were just throwing out numbers...and basically you were just saying that buyers should be rewarded...and I understand your thought process...but Ebay doe snot do it...neither does Amazon. But what both do...and what many top vendors on here do..is that the sellers offer discounts for their top customers. I know you may not be someone that  only uses one vendor....but if that is the case...maybe you  should start if you want a discount.

Though I think a reward system would be nice...and maybe one day that will be implemented...

Were the other messages scams or is this message the scam? I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! This letter said the other guy was using zeros instead of O's but what if this guy is just using lower case zeros this time and HE is the scammer trying to prevent me to deposit all my BTC in the new safe SR wallet??? What should I do, what should I do? I don't know who to trust!

Quick! Someone give me a nice safe BTC wallet to transfer all my btc coins to so I can move them from my currently potentially compromised btc wallet (according to the first guy) and then if I find out later this new vendor support was telling the truth then I will just transfer them back. Quick! Before it is too late!

I am shocked that so many people still do not get how SR does btc pricing.

DPR is constantly tweaking this for the best possible pricing for ALL OF US.

What he is doing now...is taking the best major exchange for vendors, that is Bitstamp, and then taking the best price for buyers, Mt.Gox, and splitting the difference.

So Mt Gox is $143 and Bitstamp is $133 so the price is $138.

Why the Op made this post is beyond me. What is pretty weird  is the OP believes he is pointing out something that somehow DPR and Libby do not know about. And then saying that someone needs to "fix" this is even crazier.

What SR has been doing is the BEST thing for the community as a whole. And actually..as a buyer...it is very sweet for you!!! I understand that BTC can be hard to grasp(as it is for the OP)...but it is very simple once you "get it" and you can rest assure that SR is continuing to monitor and improve the pricing of the btc on SR.

The big problem is that the exchanges suck...and there is not a single exchange that is the "nuts". One day there will be...and then it will be a lot easier to understand the btc pricing.
