Realize they didn't seize 80 million from him. In fact, it never talks about his personal accounts or his assets. It does talk about a DPR account having 3 million in it on Silk Road and that they seized.

He didn't see shit coming.

Privnote is not and has never been secure. It adds at a minimum two unnecessary attack points and there is no reason to believe it is. I have never accepted privnote links and have never even clicked on a link. Privnote is for amateurs who have no regard for security. NEVER EVER USE PRIVNOTE.

I do not recall when anyone asked your opinion. Or cares about your opinion. And why would anyone care if you accepted it or not? Why would anyone care if you have clicked on a link or not?

Two attack points??  WTF?? What if no one is ever going to attack you?

Let's use you as an example.... you never have to use pgp or gpg or Privnote or anything else. As NO ONE will ever care what YOU have to say. The only thing stranger then you coming into this thread and giving your opinion as if someone asked for it.........is that you actually believe that someone one day will be looking into you and what you do.

There is a security thread if you want to go swing your dick and talk about what if's with other paranoid people.

Also for 99% of things most people do, Privnote is perfect. You should actually go and read about it and actually know what it really is and how it works, instead of just popping off like you know what you are talking about. Because Privnote is perfect for most things actually. As the FBI computer forensic division is likely not looking into the situation that they are using Privnote for.

 Also there is a Dateline on NBC right now, you should go watch it and use your security skils to solve the cold case.

I, speaking for the whole community would really like to say THANK YOU for sticking around and keeping these forums afloat. As usual, you are all doing a fantastic job. I am proud to say I am a member of Silk Road, the community.

We all realize that you are "working"  here for free and for the good of the community.


I have seen them Ban a user that was trying to spread lies and possible personal information. They did this for "US".

As Silk Road is no more .......so in reality the Mods could just stop modding all together. But they have not. They have continued to work and keep things running smoothly. They are helping people with questions and overall encouragement.

They have also been "working" on getting people over to the "NEW" Silk Road forums over at BMR.


At some point these forums are going to shut down because the bill will not be paid, No one knows  when that will be, but it will happen.


I am really not sure who is left, but a big thank you for whoever is. Not just for everything you have done Since the 3rd but everything you guys have done for the last 2 years.


This has been one hell of a ride. I knew a day like this would come. I just didn't think it would happen because of a fake murder and asking for coding help and leaving your gmail and REAL NAME as a contact. Also I didn't think my captain would be renting a room for 1k, going to an internet Cafe to run this empire and hanging out in the Science fiction section of the Library using his laptop to run SR.






Also a word of advice for anyone who is thinking of a new SR, if you happen to pull it off and you do 1 billion in Rev and 80 million in commission, don't watch Scarface, don't learn your computer  skills from watching the Movie WAR GAMES, and if you happen to be visited by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security and the DEA because you ordered 10 fake ID's out of that Shitty- fucking -Worthless Country CANADA,  ........ This is really humorous that this loser is still upset that his account was shut down and he lost his funds. That was like 6 months ago.

Infinite source has since had 15 different names. And we always catch him every time. That is what a stupid loser he is. But the best part is I exposed him. I got his account shut down. I got his 6k in BTC taken away from him.

He is a meathead so he gets high and then gets really upset that he lost his money and that we make fun of him.

Not one thing he ever says is true. He has no real information,and he thinks we believe it is real. LOL. He also somehow thinks he is going to get money..

He actually took the title away from Perky as the biggest loser, lowlife,nobody in the sites 2 year history.
And the best part at one time he had 27 orders and all of them 5/5 and a 10 rating. Then he lies about having a DCN and within 24 hours I get his account shut down, his BTC confiscated and he starts crying all over the Forums. Literally crying. ONLINE. OVER THE NET. LMAO Just begging for help. HE GOT NONE.

 So are we to all believe that DPR himself never used PGP and was going into forums looking for coders and using gmail as his email address back in the day?

We are also to believe that a vendor was going to release 5k names of users and vendors and that upset him so much that he solicited a hit man...and got one and they claim they did the job for 150k and months before DPR had someone hit for 80k. That he has  no attorneys (I have 2).

Your group may not like that I think PGP for addresses is useless. And I know that all of you believe the cops are all just around the corner ready to make a bust....but do you really think the story we have all been told is true?

And all this over a vendor that had 5k addresses of  buyers and vendors?

Let's put the pgp aside for a day and discus this....because if I am to believe what I am being told is true, DPR is one of the stupidest people on the planet...and I have had many of talks with many a DPR over the 1.6 years I have been here...and he never once came of as stupid. EVER.

I wonder when the flood of arrest from members that had not used PGP will begin.  It's kinda scary for sure.  And what about the thousands of controlled purchases.  When are they going to un seal those indictments?

I have kept silent since this news was broke. As I was just hoping people would stay in control. And so far ....as usual...the crazies have taken over...and I have chose this post to be the first one I reply to.
