You where, as we take you as being one with many answers.

I count 4 of us so far and probably many more to come (Top Vendors) that have had issues
logging in (with credentials that we use 50 times a day) also vendors having accounts drained.

what do we do from here ?

I saw sugarmama's thread hours ago and have been looking for answers.
It appears members trying to transfer btcs off sr are also having issues however I've received new orders in this time period so btc transfers seem to be working ok inside the site  the tumbler is having issues I have no direct answers for you guys as of recent clarity moments cross my mind.
It's possible that there are tumbler issues.
That being said logins and passwords are not working uh?
Did all you get the pin required reset pages?
Was SR hacked ...idk for sure.

How many had a auto withdraw btc set up or a emergency btc address in place?

Was it more than just Sugar Mama who had her coins disappear?  I never saw an update on that either -- did she get them back?

Wish I knew what you seem to know, nomad.

Well thanks for the insight.

I did not have auto withdraw set up.

So Nomad, being in the inner circle, there is no one you can get in touch with.
How do I at least get into my account to see what the damage is ..

LOL why does everyone think im in some inner circle ...Im not im more log of the loop than vendors in general
DPR has never allowed me an inch of info and always replied to my pms 3-4 days late and with a max of 4-6 words.
The inner circle you speak of am ignoring any and all messages as they would naturally if this was to go down.

What I dont understand is why allow the site to stay online.

If your password is not working your password/pin have been reset and your coins are likely gone. You'll need vendor support to let you back in. I was only able to see because I was on at the time and it doesn't kick you out if you're on when the password is reset. DPR is aware of the issues.

Really bad business to not be able to get in touch with people to fix these types of situations.

I told DPR from the very beginning. Let one of the Top Vendors have contact with him somehow
We are on here everyday and an emergency like this could be conveyed ASAP not 3 or 4 days
later.

Sugarmama, How do you know DPR is aware. Were you able to get in contact

There must be a thread that you and I aren't seeing or something.

Anyway, my vendor account is all good.  Can't say I've tested logging in as I stay logged in from a very secure system but the money is still there that auto-withdraw hasn't taken out.

FRIEND'S :

I HAVE SPOKEN TO DPR. HE IS AWARE OF SOME OF THE SITUATIONS THAT WE HAVE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION ON THE FORUMS
HE IS WORKING DILIGENTLY TO FIX ANYTHING THAT NEEDS FIXED. GIVE HIM SOME TIME AND ALL WILL BE WELL AGAIN.

IF YOU ARE A VENDOR AND YOU WANT ME TO GET HIM A MESSAGE ON SOMETHING THAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED TO YOU RECENTLY
ON YOUR ACCOUNTS PLEASE MESSAGE ME AND I WILL PASS THE MESSAGE ALONG.

that's super peachy.
So quick question has everyone that got btcs scratched had to do a username/password reset?
It feels like exploited server.

I have messaged support about it.
I use auto-withdrawal from SR and I am missing quite a few coins that have not shown up on blockchain yet.
Once I noticed it, I disabled auto-withdrawal, but am still awaiting a reply from support about the issue.
I had trouble logging onto the site a few hours ago, but now I have access fine.

Those of you that have/had the problems.... did you have complex passwords that you didn't use anywhere else?  Even reusing a complex password for your account in forums just gives the attacker another place to try and get your password.  Most of us don't know shit about the back-end (is the password stored in plain text? reversible encryption?  one-way hash?  is password authentication handled on a backend server on another network/behind a firewall?) so best to just assume the worst.

FELLOW VENDORS:

I WAS IN A SITUATION TODAY, WHERE I WAS CRAPPING MY PANTS

*COULD NOT LOG IN
*WAS READING IN THE FORUMS ABOUT VENDORS ACCOUNTS BEING DRAINED

I WAS LIKE OH FUCK THE END IS NEAR. I ENDED UP GETTING IN TOUCH WITH DPR
HE ASSURED ME HE WAS ON IT. IT EASED MY MIND AND KNEW HE WOULD TAKE
OF ME. HES ONLY ONE PERSON BUT I PROMISE YOU HE'LL GET AROUND TO YOU IF
YOU NEED HIM .

THE END IS NOT NEAR LOL (DPR WILL MAKE SURE OF THAT)

this is where the option for vendors to leave feedback on transactions would be ideal. hopefully your buyer is understanding about it and will change/update feedback.

Hello all.

Has this issue been resolved for those it affected?

DPR is there any word on what this issue was?

DPR and staff took care of the issue pretty quickly after it happened and most have received their coins back.  If there are any who haven't yet received their coins back, I'd assume it's just because they're having to go through on a case-by-case basis.

Well, I was locked out of my account over 24 hours ago .... still able to sign in to a different vendor account I had and was just locked out of that about 15 minutes ago.

No one will respond to my messages and there is no way I was phished ... so I have no clue WTF is going on.

Yes, inigo was able to reset my passwords earlier this afternoon and I'm back into both accounts with no coins missing.  Still, not sure what actually happened to lock me out of two accounts like that, but I'm just glad to be back in.  Was having massive panic attacks about it all day yesterday.  :(

Weird shit ??? Did inigo tell you that password was changed?
Title: Re: login failed
Post by: scout on March 09, 2013, 03:29 am
No, he just reset the passwords for me ... so I have absolutely no clue, since I run a live Tails CD/DVD on a laptop that is used for nothing else ... and I type the SR url by memory and have never put in my PIN  ....   so no freaking clue!
