Anyone else experiencing slow SR like the other day or is it just me?

it's slow as fuck vendor pages aren't loading listing load slow it took me 30mins to checkout yesterday

i noticed that if you only try to load 1 page at a time it works a lot smoother still takes a while but the connections don't time out

I find if you right click a link and then click 'Open link in New tab', the new tab will load a hell of a lot quicker. I've almost managed to place an order in less than 10 minutes ;)

I though i just had bad luck haha that is the only downside to SR and fuck me if someone done a survey on what is more addictive facebook or SR im pretty sure SR would win by far its the most addictive thing i have ever seen haha.

Ye i think its amazing for the vendors especially off the streets alot safer and making a fuck load more than they were and for the customers you get alot better drugs than you get on the street

Yes, many minutes to load one single page, and I ain't on no dialup either.
Does anybody know if ddos attacks could be causing this? I'm not trying to introduce a theory, just wondering out loud. No updates from DPR, but he did pull an all nighter so I guess he earned his rest.

Just thought it was me with a isdn tornode, which should be forbidden in this adsl time-age.
Damn bottlenecks those isdn ordenary phone connections create in the datatrafficflow.
Checked it, but my node was the German rueckgrat , one of the better ones.
Glad my problem is solved.
No fun, i immediately checked the new SR little sister/brother, with the old pictures like SR used to have.
Seemed a lot of work for a scam, so I give them the benefit of the doubt, but doubting I am!
Strange site, stick to SR people, when the prices become cheaper then the SR or bmr sites you will be hearing from it soon enough.

Make sure your TOR is updated...if you are running .25-5 and not .25-6 then it is very slow.
If you are running .25-6 it is at normal speed.
People this should not be that hard to figure out. KEEP YOUR TOR UPDATED FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE OF SR.

I agree, I STAY updated and it has been VERY VERY slow for me. Seems to have sped back up recently though.

Does this have an affect on money being slow going onto the road?? Have been waiting about an hour and have around 10 confirmations and an order I placed right after to my outside wallet went in lighting quick??

After about a week or so of much improved 'speeds' it does seem like SR has been a bit sluggish the past day or two.

No it does not...It is normal for it to take up to 6 hours....sometimes a lot sooner and sometimes longer... but to answer your question...No the load speed for SR on Tor has NOTHING to do with how long it takes for your btc to get into SR.

I mean there are actually morons in here who do not use tor to connect to SR!!! As insane as that is...I mean I can't even imagine someone is that stupid...then again I totally know they are as I get questions that prove it every single hour. So in the future when you read something...and you do not like it...don't comment...just assume it was not meant for you.

It's only been slower since the latest maintenance.
Before that it was lightning fast..

Trying to get my order in before the vendor's deadline which is 2pm UK time. Looks like I am not going to make it, this is a nightmare :(

Again, Update Tor you have to keep in line with the network, this is the number 1 course of connection issues and some times on windows you will need to delete the old copy before extracting the new one to the same directory, or it acts like its done it but you still have the same geomap file, not the new one.

THIS THIS THIS THIS. SR was driving me crazy, then I realized maybe it was because I haven't updated it in months. Now it runs great, not quite clearnet speeds, but 10x better than it was before.

I don't know if you guys are just thinking its going faster or something. But I've updated tor. Restarted computer.
Somethings going on thats causing it to be so slow. Maybe just an overload of people. But its hard to think just a week ago it was running lightning fast.
It's also odd that right after it went down for the night after DPR 'smelled something fishy' and now its loading slow as hell.
Also there hasn't been any input from any mods or DPR since its been going slow... it's literally loading so slow I'm having trouble packing orders because I can't get peoples fucking addresses!
Hope it gets resolved soon =\

Same here been trying to place an order for a while now, have just been on Altantis and that is running fine so just must be SR.
With btc going bananas and SR now increasingly difficult to use, anyone would think that someone was making life difficult for my fellow roaders!
SR more addictive than drugs!! ;D

Same. oh well, it always eventually comes back up. After a while you just kind of get used to it and learn not to look a gift horse in the mouth. Will be happy to see it stable again though ;)

Ditto, I haven't been able to contact customers or mark orders in transit the last 2 days for the most part. Im able to get a message through here and there but its definitely growing a tad frustrating.
